2. Yeah if that were real he muzzle swept himself with a machine gun several times. Also the technology exists now. It's a quadcopter. All aerial hobbyists have them now.
3. Glad you got it out. I'm of the belief that some of these factory installs are forced in place.
4. I wonder why they would blow the plane up over the china sea? I understand maybe a bomb malfunction or stupid terrorist. But I fail to see how this end result would have been their master plan. Of course TWA 800 exploded with no bomb, supposedly :tinfoil:
5.
Are they disappointing for 223 or 5.56?
I've never chrono'd any but all have functioned fine for me. Plenty sufficient for target shooting. I've got better stuff for soft tissue anyway :)
6.
There should be extremely stiff punishment for failing to stop and/or yield for a school bus or fire trucks etc.... After all what else can be done to make safer they paint them bright colors and have bright flashing lights?
I agree. I wish there was a solution here in seriousness. I've thought well, the drive should get off and stop traffic, but then he'd have been hit too. I will say this if I ever have to wall my kids to the bus. They will not cross until all traffic is firmly stopped. Not blaming the grandmother it wasn't her fault, but after seeing this I can't assume that risk
7. E-file Submited for YHM M2 762 Suppressor File date 3/7/14
8. A 6 year old boy and his grandmother were hit by a car in Unicoi County by a 57 year old woman who failed to stop. The bus had all it's lights on and the stop sign out. The boy began crossing the lane and the grandmother saw the car coming and jumped out to try and save the boy. Both the boy and grandmother were taken to JCMC for treatment. The boy apparently has some serious injuries including a fractured scull. The offendig would should loose her license for life. That is after she does a stint in the iron bar hotel. http://www.wjhl.com/story/24901729/breaking-news-two-pedestrians-hit-by-car
9. If the banana isn't super ripe, peeling from the opposite of stem is generally easier. Of course I don't eat then until all green is gone so it's a non issue. I could probably do without the apple core as well
10.
Thanks for the pic. I'm going to call Glock hopefully tomorrow and see if I can get a new RSA at least. Still somewhat new to the brand if you can't tell.
Yeah if it's FTF or not returning to battery that's a separate issue and you should call Glock if it's a fairly new gun
11. My Gen 3 G29 straight out of the holster.
12.
if you say so....
It's not about safety or non-safety. It's about posting gun pictures in a generally non-gun forum. Some do it, I generally do not. Although I wouldn't say never. I'm certainly not worried about people knowing I have guns, that's certainly no secret. I just don't want the unwarranted commentary or scrutiny
13.
if you think TGO is safer than facebook, well...
You missed the point
14. I tend to not post pictures of my guns to buy or sell on Facebook because it's full of anti-gunners and I just don't want it on those servers. Here I don't care. Just a matter of arena.
15. Actually Facebook says it will NOT delete gun related posts. But will watch and regulate according to certain standards http://gunssavelives.net/blog/breaking-facebook-will-not-ban-gun-related-pages-announces-new-education-and-enforcement-for-commercial-sales
16.
Some of y'all sure know how to look a gift horse in the mouth...
Apparently some even do it while trying to purchase from him. Some people just can't be pleased. And for the record if Academy wants to burn their ammo out back that's fine with me. Just don't lie about it.
17. This move could be an economic nut kick to Russia in the end. They lost $60billion when the markets opened yesterday. Plus sanctions could really hurt them as they import a vast majority of their products. I think the "right move" is to stay out, let the UN watch for war crimes and let the Ruble collapse to nothing. In the mean time we need to get someone with balls in the White House. You don't have to use the big stick very often if people are scared you might. Right now Obama can't even find the stick.
18. Edit Apparently I was watching the afternoon session first unknowingly.  Points still valid       well the mobile app lost sound about 16 mins into the video, so I will have to pick up more later, but this video is truly interesting and educational so far.       I really like the first speakers points on what constitutes "Arms" as to include self defense of any means, and how the school systems with Zero tolerance policies have violated that right by treating aggressors and defenders equally, and wrongly saying its  "unlawful, unethical, and in my contention unconstitutional."
19.
Check out the source document above Tennessee is at the very bottom of the list.
Definitely nothing desirable in those numbers for Tennessee. 17K per equivalent of $5/hr If I though I had to rely solely on that, disparity wouldn't be far behind. Praise God I have better options.
20.     I think its a separate issue.  If Academy had a policy that employees could hold and sell ammo to their friends, this would be a non-issue.  I actually thought about you when this first started, and about the flack you catch from people not allowed to buy the ammo you sell.  but in the end you're the owner and get the right to choose.  If Academy decides they don't care, then neither do I
21. I actually would have rather seen a photo of the store clerk than the buyers.
22. I'm sure this happens everywhere. Maybe a perk of being an employee, but there is no excuse for lying...Ever!!!!! If your holding it for friends, grow some balls and say so.
23.
That's a good looking rail, goes great with the TGO set. Do you plan on making much use of the key mod, or leave it blank? I think a lot of them look like they have a very comfortable contour, doubt if I'd mount much to them though.
I'm not sure to be honest. I will probably put a QD socket and maybe a Noveske K9 which is a barricade support but could be good for hunting as a tree support.
24. So I cannibalized my 300 pistol and sold some parts to convert to a TGO SBR. Here's what I have so far TGO CMT billet lower CMT billet upper Noveske NSR 9 YHM QD mount Alpha Shooting Sports 10.5 barrel Here is the rail amd receiver mocked up. Hope to go for cerakote soon
25. I ordered a package, containing a T-shirt and a couple morale patches.  The USPS doesn't leave packages at the door in my condo complex, they have a large package box, and leave the key in your mailbox.  The packaged checked as delivered, but no sign.  I took 3 trips to the post office as well as talked to the mail carrier, never did find that package.  The curiosity kills me some days wondering where that went, who if anyone, stole it, or where it got lost
