SO how does one submit an E-File?
Lumber_Jack replied to whitewolf001's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
The LGS doesn't get anything out of it at all unless it's selling a NFA item that's involved though, right? Meaning, you're just asking them to take the time to do it for good PR or whatever? - OS
Standard NFA Transfers run $50. The FFL has to posses the item to do the transfer and hold it until stamp returns. And they have to have the license to deal NFA. If another dealer has the item and doesn't do e-file he would have to have a dealer to dealer transfer which can take weeks in its own right. -

This http://slrrifleworks.com/index.php?route=product/manufacturer/info&manufacturer_id=13 SLR DA6, DA7, DA8, DA9 The last number is seat diameter. Standard .750 uses a DA7. Comes in clamp on or set screw. The adjustment screw is click adjustable. No loctite, no losing set screw. Drawback...it's $100 -
in all honesty it may have been high jacked with the attempt to land it somewhere and instead its in the indian ocean somewhere

Its certainly possible with the complacency of any airstrip that's long enough. I would say its not for sale, if stolen it will be used for terrorist ventures for sure. Many tapes and manuscripts have shown Al Queada's desire to continue to use airliners for their purposes

Payne Stewart. Yes they were all dead, plane was flying on autopilot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1999_South_Dakota_Learjet_crash

Assuming the plan was to steal the plane. No better way to preserve their cover than to kill all the passengers quickly. Then land and dispose of the bodies. I believe if their plan was to just destroy the plan and passengers, we wouldn't have missed that spectacle. Killing 300 people but not getting any news coverage doesn't fit their agenda. Plus I would think some group would have claimed responsibility

SO how does one submit an E-File?
So, the way I've read this thread so far.... Even if I have an NFA Trust established, for a Form 4 item, the employee at the store still has to be willing to submit the forms via e-File? So far I haven't found anyone willing. :(
Yes the FFL had to file a Form 4. Drive to Oak Ridge and Mike at Law Enforcement Sales will fix you up. It's about an hour and a half drive, but it will be worth it in the end. Send him a PM on here and he'll get back to you -
Romans 12:19 Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says The Lord He will answer to the one who is righteous to Judge.
Sorry, I've been out for a while. I guess I missed that part. Did something happen?
No nothing specific. Just a couple times a year someone broaches the topic of David making new swag or letting us make our own. He is very protective of the brand (rightfully so) and just doesn't have the free time he did years ago
-
The shelves of the TGO store seem to be empty of swag; do you think David would be interested in having another batch made? I PM'd him a while ago & asked about his thoughts on having some patches made up, but didn't get a reply. I'm not sure if he's too swamped with other stuff at the moment, or is tired of fooling with it.
He has about 9 millions things that rank above TGO swag. It will show up when it's a priority in his life. I'd say not soon
Have the manufacturers raised prices? I don’t think so. These price increases seem to be from middlemen and retailers.
Exactly. I've bought several bricks for under $40 and seen some under $30. This means they are sourcing ammo at normal or semi-normal prices. Someone between factory and shooter is exploiting the price.
Not if it's clear they could sell for 70. They're there to fulfill their customers' needs, not to bleed out to prove a point. With that said, I'm not paying that much and I don't suggest anyone else does either. Anyone been in lately to see if anyone is actually buying this stuff?
Selling a few bricks at $70 maybe true, but 2 skids full....we'll see I guess.

The difference in my mind is CTD is a faceless internet company. It's easy to forgive when the deals are good. Brick and mortar you have to look the same guy in the face that tried to bend you over last year. Tougher to swallow in my mind. And for those saying "what did they pay for it". Honestly I don't care. If they paid $60 and brick, their buyer needs his head examined.

If you checked out, it's good to go -
Does the Tundra have a front end leveling kit? If so I'd take it to the local dealer for an inspection. Leveling kits are fine but can add some stress to ball joints and wheel bearings. PS those tires are gonna be loud on the road.
Do you really think that's possible, or even probable considering the response of countries who had citizens aboard?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Malaysia seems to be either covering up it negligent. The flight path projection I saw shows the plane may have crossed back over Malaysia/Thailand and into the Andaman Sea. And of course a Vietnamese oil rig worker says he saw and explosion in the sky that night.

most stories I'm reading that say RADAR indicates the plane turned, but the pilots made no communication. Why no one is certain this happened, I cant explain Edit: seems TerrW has a lead above as to why they don't know for sure
-
I agree its doable for sure. But how many times have incidents happened and the world asks "why didn't you have....." "I have it on my phone and you cant get it on a......." fill in the blanks accordingly.
-
The terms the reports are using like "the plane may have u-turned" or "we are searching the planned flight path" lead me to believe that they didn't have exact coordinates of the plane. Especially not to the level that US air traffic controllers do. Either that or its just the authorities being vague on purpose
Hey Greg, how do you like that Midwest rail? I've been looking hard at the 15" but the same model as your's and the only thing that had me kind of "iffy" is the teeth on the barrel nut being exposed. Now that I've seen that it looks great on your's it really isn't bothering me.
I'm not Greg ;) but I'll tell ya I love mine so far. It's really light thin grip. If the gas tube hole is lined up the the rail is timed right and it just slides straight on, no screwing the rail onto the nut. It's held in place by the anti-rotation tabs and the two retention screws at the bottom. The installation instructions say to apply loctite(provided) to the barrel nut/rail contact surface. After reading online I've seen several not do that step. So I also skipped it and will just monitor and see of it loosens.

I ordered a non-TGO CMT UPUR-1 on Friday a week ago. It showed up on the following Tuesday. That's excellent service.
