That tree will probably live for a while if the back side is intact. However it will rot from the front and eventually die. I'd say from the picture it's susceptible to wind too. It's coming down one way or another
Just got back from Blade. Had a great time just like last year. My only gripe is not enough money! Soooooo many wants. The highlight of my trip was that I got to meet and shake Jeff Axelson's hand. The brother of Matthew Axelson. I shook his hand and paid a little respect to his brother, so that was cool! He was there with Busse Knives. I picked up a cheap beater knife (ontario joe pardue rat) and a Microtech.
Well let's see some pics

Technically it's not Glock that's in trouble. It's the individuals named in the indictment, some of which worked for Glock. They are being charged for basically defrauding the public (and Glock) and pocketing the money through fake businesses. Hence the Laundering and wire fraud indictment.

Pick me up a Microtech Scarab while you're there, how bout it ;)

Now if we can just get the e-file system up again.
When you buy an NFA item through a Trust does the ATF know who the members of the Trust are?
Yes, a copy of the entire trust document is included.

Got made at a wedding this past weekend...

I really don't see what he was trying to accomplish. I mean he told the brides mom. Seems like he needs to be more of an observer in silence. -
Ralph Bone - from my google-foo apparently he quit making knives in the mid 1974-75ish and moved from Lubbock Tx to Colorado to teach. He is gone now I believe. From what I can tell these knives are highly sought after and worth a good chunk of change.

It's too late to set a record for quickest member to be banned. Might as well tone it down and join in the fun.

Swapped out the EP Cover for a caliber specific engraved one I had

Put it together today. Had to sand a little on the takedown pin holes and safety selector to get them to fit properly but all fits really well.

This was really the point of my tongue-in-cheek post of "Someone call me when it's time to fight". I don't really have interest in having group meetings and reading 'Nuclear War Survival Tips'. I'm here watching diligently, being calm, enjoying life to the fullest. Life is too short.

No one has answered the question I asked earlier. What does a III%er do that a normal "non-affiliated" constitution loving American (me) doesn't do to protect freedom? A good answer could sway me to join...or maybe not.
Some of them showed up at the Bundy Ranch. Not a normal week. They still had the nads to stand up to Harry's boys.
But kind of to my point. You don't have to be in the group and wear a label to defend freedom. And I'm not necessarily saying it's a bad thing that others do. It's like TMF said, it feels like we're being guilted for not already being a member. If you had a ranch that was being illegally seized I'd come stand firm, no affiliation required
-
So explain what a 3%er does in a normal week to keep this country free that a normal constitution loving American doesn't.

Ahh, natural selection hard at work here

Someone call me when it's time to fight, until then I'll just hang back.
