  3. I have a Ruger New Model Blackhawk in .41 Magnum. I feel good out to 100yds ballistically but more like 50-60 with irons only. I put a Rogue rubber grip on it, makes a huge difference
  4. Yeah it's a special run that they do for specific deals. Called distributer specials. Call Whittaker Guns in Owensboro Ky. That will sell you one over the phone and ship it to you're FFL 270-229-0140
  5. It's always a hard time, and I can't imagine the death of my mother. As I age I can see it's coming closer and I can't bare the thought. If there is anything, I or we as a community of friends, can do to ease your pain, just say the word.
  6. The best muzzle break..... A suppressor But aside from that put a Noveske Pig on it. It will send the noise down range and tame the flash, and a little muzzle control added. Oh, and it'll look retarded on a bolt gun, but thems the breaks
  7. I understand priced change behind the scenes but I'm OCD and seeing a thread title "sold" with no content is almost more than I can handle.
  8. It's really my only complaint on this forum. It drives me nuts. I would like to see what was for sale and the original asking price. I don't understand the purpose of deleting it.
  9. Prayers for you and your family Dave, sorry for your loss
  10. I will send you the model number when I got home. Whittakers had 10 ( now 9) when I bought mine. $265
  11. I'll post a video this week when I get to shoot some
  12. Yes sir. It's pretty awesome. I was looking at the Savage .22 until I saw this one.
  13. Yes it is. I forgot to mention that. It's bigger and more squared vs the rounded on the standard American. This model comes in 22WMR as well
  14. Sounds like you're trying to prepare a defense for something you're 'fixin' to do
  15. So I was in Whittaker Guns yesterday looking to buy one of the new Ruger American .22 threaded versions. Well the only one left that had the longer legnth-of-pull had the rear sight broken, so I looked at the new Predator version. So it also has a threaded barrel, but instead of factory sights it has a pre-installed scope rail, and is the predador green stock. Other than that its identical. The guy at Whittakers said there were only 500 .22 versions of this rifle and a Sports South exclusive. All of the others were typical predator hunting calibers. anyways I mounted a red dot on there and my current suppressor as I await getting my dedicated .22 suppressor. The trigger is adjustable and very crisp. It also takes the 10/22 rotary mags or any high capacity mags designed for 10/22.
  16. Back to the old ways I guess
  17. I still haven't gotten my shipping notice :(
  18. You have to have a trust to efile, just FYI
  19. I would log on and click "ask the experts" like dolo says, as well. That tends to get quicker response
  20.   You just print the stamp.  They wont mail you a stamp separately
  21. Dr Laura (wife not radio) says it sounds like he has a MRSA infection. It can come and go for his whole life and be otherwise healthy, but any competent dr would culture it and figure that out.
  22. Today at Walmart Nolensville Pike south of Old Hickory. 25 boxes CCI
