  1. I slept through my wife's notice. As a matter of fact her phone would have had to get up and tap dance on my forehead...even then waking would be questionable.
  2. Man, I'd give a lot of things to be sitting on the beach drinking a beer right now.
  3. Wesley Place Garage is owned by Vanderbilt and is on the northeast edge of the perimeter. Everything in brown on the map is technical campus although you wouldn't be able to tell the difference driving through
  4. I mean northerners never wreck right. They carry a magical wand that gives them the power to control their vehicle on solid ice And yes I grew up in WV, I've driven in plenty of snow. It's simply a lack of experience for southerners. I take pride in the lack of wintery precip, I hate the stuff
  5. It is not worth that price!!! I paid $100 for a bottle of 15yr Pappy a year ago, and I like it a lot and at that price ill probably try to get another next year. No way I would pay any more than I did. I've managed to stretch it out over time so I can justify that price. No way I'd pay $650 for anything.
  6.   haha, damn autocorrect
  7. Are y'all using unholstered guns? I'm not a fan of not keeping the trigger covered. I've though about using one of the kydex trigger covers with a lanyard. Then place the lanyard end underneath the mounting plate. So when you grab the gun the lanyard pulls the holster off. Yet when mounted the trigger is secured.
  8. South Nashville, sheet of ice now being covered by sleet/snow.
  9. Sturgill Simpson http://youtu.be/LWx6csgGkg4
  10. Definatley gas issue needs to be checked and resolved or ruled out. What buffer weight are you using. I just saw you were using a pistol gas system. Make sure the gas port or clear and not obstructed. Them align the block. You should be able to get plenty of gas with a pistol system. I run my block about half way closed even without a suppressor.
  11. I follow Nashville Severe Weather on twitter. He/she seems like a real rational meteorologist. They say 3-5" but warns it could change drastically in either direction. Apparently this storm is just really unpredictable
  12. I vehemently disagree with every sentiment in this post.
  13. You all are a great candidate for the paleo diet. But even then most are eating 1200 calories or so a day, some more.
  14. Take this as a friendly opinion. I hope y'all get an end game plan, because I'm afraid 700cals isn't sufficient and sustainable long term. Like others have said with diabetes you run the risk of going too far in the other direction. I do admire your willpower and determination. Hopefully you all maintain and see continued success.
  15. Are the receivers on that polymer? Is the gas system the same as any other AR9?
  16. This area is about as safe and safe gets. Stay out of the Antioch/Nolensville road (north of old hickory) it's rough Cool Springs/Franklin is where we spend 80-90 percent of our restaurant/shopping. Downtown/midtown offer some great food options that are not to be missed, but it can be a pain to get down there sometimes.
  17. exactly what David said, Look at Nolensville too, nice growing small area, close to 840
  18. Eric, as you know I live here now.  If you need specifics dont hesitate to send me a PM.     Id look at Cool Springs to Spring Hill Area.  That way your fiance has access to the Cool Springs Mall area.  Plenty of shopping and food.  Most people who can't afford Franklin end up in Spring Hill.  Its a pretty good commute to downtown Nashville though if you wanted to visit.     If you want to avoid traffic, stay out of Davidson County completely. Mt Juliet is a nice area, but there is less shopping so your finace would have a little more limited options, but still a good amount of stuff there.     Like others said, but in reverse, if you live in Spring Hill, you can jump on 840 and head up to 40 to head to Knoxville.  Either way you'd be good.
  19.   Just watched the first two episodes On-Demand.  I really like it.  Its like feeding my Breaking Bad addiction.  different story but stylistically its the same.  It gives you enough satisfaction per episode but leaves you wanting to watch the next.  This could be a great series
  20. Maybe he's the Anti-antichrist. You know, one that nobody likes and causes all the worlds problems.
  21. I plan to go to the fishing expo but didn't even know there was a gun show. Is it different admission for each event?
  22. Lived there on and off for 4 years while my wife was in school. I never knew about the airgun ban until I day I went to Walmart to browse some models. I was floored. I love the TriCities though, such a beautiful place. Never seemed to "liberal" just living there. I avoided local politics as much as possible
  23. Welcome from south Nashville (Lennox Village area)
  24. Sturgilll Simpson! If mine were an actual album it probably would be ruined by now I play it so much. It is incredible. A those back country sound with great song writing. http://youtu.be/I5PpIH4HZ_k
  25. We caught guys steeling timber in Bell County Ky, had pictures, license plate, everything. The county Sherifs reply, "it's just a couple trees". Sometimes they just don't care, they should, but don't
