  1. I don't go to certain parts of town because the likelihood of catching a bullet is pretty high. I also don't attend terrorist provocating events because.....the likelihood of catching a bullet is high.
  2. "should" and "Are".....two separate things I agree they should be able to hold this event without disturbance. But reality is obviously different. I agree with Mikegideon. They did prove a point.
  3. Freedom of Speech simply means the government can't prosecute you for speaking against them. Speech has plenty of consequences the Constitution can't protect you from. Plenty of people have been fired for speech, killed for speech. Say what you have to say, but know the consequences and be ready to face them.
  4.   This is the first thought that I had.  I don't think we should live in fear of drawing political cartoons, but there is also consequences for actions, and sometimes common sense should be exercised for the interest of safety.
  5. I love my FJ regardless of its 100% Japanese assembly  :usa:   I did have a 2008 GMC Sierra that ran for 268,000 miles without trouble.  Thats a pretty good run for a modern american made truck, imo.
  6. I'll do that for sure. I was on my phone before. I'll type up a trip summary and post.
  7. I traveled to Helena Montana this past week with a couple friends to explore some world class trout fishing on the Missouri River. Just thought Id share some pictures
  8. It must be mating season, I've seen them dead all over Brentwood and north Williamson county
  9. Doesn't RIA make a 10mm now? I'm not sure of its full size or not
  10. I have a Burris PEPR mount you could put a small fastfire on top
  11. Just get a QD mount and have a non magnified red dot for home use.
  12. Buy a 1-4 scope. I've used magnified red dot and for hunting I've wanted a small scope every time.
  13. Man I wish I known you had some Elmer T Lee. I was in Knoxville yesterday I would have come by and bought a bottle. Love that stuff
  14. Well I'm curious, what was your old username? Oh and Welcome
  15. I have a feeling the victim may have contributed to a road rage incident prior to shooting. But with that said nothing gave the offender the right to open fire.
  16. Joebobs has Anderson lowers for $45 http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Anderson_Manufacturing_AR15_Lower_Receiver_Multi_C_p/ander-lower.htm
  17. I would buy a new stripped aluminum receiver. They are a dime a dozen now a days.
  18. Back off jam nut and take out retaining screw. Aligned the upper rail. Best way is with a mount over the gap. Screw jam nut tight, put in retaining screw. This is the same method YHM has used for years. The rail needs to be free spinning on the barrel nut threads for proper alignment. I would turn the rail until it makes contact with the receiver and the reverse until it's aligned straight
  19. I'm gonna be honest....... I don't care much. I hate his views but I like his older music and he puts on and awesome concert. What he chooses to do with his time is his right. What I contribute is a drop in the ocean.
  20. He was the "Loss Prevention" employee of Walmart. The story said the cops were called originally because one of the women pushed a female Walmart employee in the store bathroom. They had been camping in the parking lot for a couple days and cops had a previous encounter with them. It seemed to me they were trying to question about the potential assault on the employee and they weren't having any if that
  21. You're too skinny to matter in this conversation ;)
  22. If something falls through let me know. And anytime you need something brought from middle TN, just let me know. I make trips often
  23. Also whiskey is much more time and money invested to end product than beer. I feel $10 is reasonable.
  24. Yeah it's puzzling. Possibly the worst case scenario, aside from one to the head. He's very lucky to be in the relative good condition he is.
  25. So the guy that runs the "NFA Guns" page on Facebook had an accidental (negligent) discharge yesterday and is lucky to be alive. This post by his brother doesn't explain exactly what happened or who discharged the gun, but I thought it never hurts to take a minute for a safety reminder.
