  1. Have you tried a Gen 3 to see if it makes a difference?
  2.   That, I didn't see.  Game changer.  So what are these "witnesses" supposedly corroborating? Just lying, or blindly vouching for a shotgun wielding neighbor.
  3.   Thanks for the tips, FYI, this is an OWB Raven Concealment holster.  It just ridge real close and high.
  4.   I agree.  I don't know that the data was or wasn't collected that day, but if it wasn't, I'd consider it compromised.  Anyone with a standard GIS editor could change the tabular data associated with the file, edit the flight path is association with the time data.  unless its protected in some magical format
  5. So I have a set of Trijicon night sights on my Glock 29 that is my dominant carry gun. They are very sharp and dig into my rib cage, especially when riding in the car. They are sloped in two dimensions (up and back) that creates a point. I am not afraid to hit the edge with a file, but I am concerned about changing the sight picture. obvioiusly re-blacking the area would be necessary, but do yall have any thoughts on this?
  6. What format is the flight data recorded? File extension? I agree that anything digital can be altered but he'd have to act fast.
  7. are there no "peeping tom" type laws?  I have no idea
  8. There should definitely be some rules of "trespass" that have to be observed by drone pilots.  And thats not just a height restriction, anyone deliberately filming others private fenced yards should be illegal.   If it doesn't have a reasonable view from public property you shouldn't be able to film it with a drone.
  9.     Thats a good question.  It will involve much more data analysis and GIS mapping work than field work.  I will be managing the program for all state forests. So all timber harvesting and inventory data, as well as training any foresters on new technologies.  I'll also help facilitate the sale of timber off the state lands.  The state owns 170,000 acres quantified as "State Forest".  This does not include "Parks" which do not harvest timber.  State Forests are listed in state code to be "demonstration areas" for the public to see how good forest management is performed, as well as generate revenue, and provide recreation.  I'll be jockeying a desk for a majority of the time, which is ok with me.  The older I get the harder it is to maintain a hard outdoor pace that field forestry requires.  And after the heat of the last few weeks, I'll enjoy some AC
  10. So, some of you may know, I have been on a perpetual job hunt for 5 years now.  I have never been unemployed during that time, which I am very thankful and blessed to say.  I lived 100miles apart from wife for 4 years while she was in med school. I tried for years to find a job nearby and nothing panned out.  When she graduated we moved to Nashville, and I have been fortunate enough to have enough contract work with my previous company to sustain a full time salary on part time work.  But this required a lot of travel and out of town stay, as well as a lot of physical field work.  But thankfully today, I officially accepted an offer from the Tennessee Division of Forestry as a Program Specialist in charge of the State Forest program across the state.  Its a really great opportunity and I fell truly blessed to have been selected....FINALLY!!! A lot of prayers were answered this week.
  11.   Yes, I don't know where that is, but yes
  12. I would drive that far and then some for a good day of meet-n-shoot TGO style.
  13. Whoever picked Donelson at 5:30 gets to pay the tab right?
  14. Go with a lighter spring and see if you can get more inertia in the slide.
  15. Welcome. I lived in JC for 4 years while my wife was in school. Love the area. I used to shoot in Unicoi at the Scioto Forest Service Range.
  16. Bro, that is one fine lookin 1911. Have to give us a range report.
  17. Man that is sweat. Love it. Nice work.
  18. I did that last month with some FJ Cruiser group. sat ate dinner and then realized we were all from the same group.
  19. Well no matter what. Find a place to park and one of us will come get you. If it's too far to walk I'd be happy to pick you up.
  20. Just saw your link to the LR2. It's a good vehicle. But not worth the price. If you can't get an LR3 or LR4 I'd look elsewhere.
