  1. IMO the cardboard trick is not rediculous. It give you the ability to draw, aim, and pull the trigger without racking the slide. You can practice moving in your house, double taps whatever you want. Yeah of course its not quite as heavy as the real deal but in the heat of a gunfight you wont notice. Nothing is going to replace range time, and nothing is going to emulate a true fire and trigger reset

    Ive got $500

Glock 19, you can buy them new in some stores for $510. Yeah you have to add tax and TICS but hey save a few more dollars. I have one and love it.

I second, or third, the Sig P238 note. Good feeling gun, and have heard good range reports for accuracy. The only draw back is that there is lack of grip options, def not seen any pearl for the 238. but you can get some pretty alum ones from sigpower.com. As far as the mustang Id say if you can find one it might be cheaper than sig which runs between 550-700 depending on sights and coatings. But I have heard the sig doesn't have the some of the issues( ftf/fte) the mustang had, but thats all hear-say.
  5. are those factory mags, do they come with bumpers in the box from the factory?
  6. Man I like that a lot, thats what Im looking for. you know where there are some in stock in East TN. Does Bentons Shooting Supply have one, thought you might know since your in that area. Great looking gun thanks for the positive range report. A lot of negative Kimber talk around
  7. The key to Kimber is complete the break-in period if you have FTF or FTE the send it back to Kimber, they will fix it Originally Posted by Blake DO you think the Kimbers are worth their money? IN my opinion go buy a Springfield Loaded stainless 5" you can get a good deal on one for about $800. That way your on an even playing field I believe a 6" barrel revolver should be more accurate than a 5" 1911 so if you can shoot you'll beat em hands down. Plus the SA will run like a watch
  8. Anybody seen a Kimber Pro CDP II anywhere in East TN. Gander MTn had one but it was about $100 too high and now its gone. Just wondering if anyone has seen one. Also taking opinions on that gun as a carry option or any suggestions of what yall think might be comperable or better.
  9. Outdoor Junction in Cookeville is the same distance about 45mi but in the other direction from Guns and Leather. Its easy to get to all interstate, exit 290, cookeville, Tn. I have not used the range but the employees are friendly and chances of a crowd are less. Just my 2 cents
  10. ahh thank you sir, it indeed was not checked! thanks again
  11. I have sent 2 private messages to TGO memebers in the classified section but my "sent items" box is still listed as empty. Did the messages not go through? thanks for the help
  12. done, guns is up to 40% still in the lead
  13. They are currently working on the legeslation, but lets face it government is never in a hurry to pass a law that would be usefull to its law abiding citizens!
  14. Hey, thinking of heading to gunnys tomorrow to take my fiance shooting. Do they have eye/ear protection with the range fee or should we bring some? Ive only been in the store once; is the range entrace the same as the shop? Are weekday evenings crowded or is it just a crap shoot? Thanks for your help.
  15. Anybody seen any 41 mag for sale in East TN area, if not any sugestions of where I can buy. I found some on midway USA but the shipping is redonkulous. Thanks
