  1. ORSA, in Oak Ridge has a 1000 yard range. It's the longest I know of. Saw a guy the other day at the gun shop picking up his new Savage 110 .338 Lapua heading over to shoot there.
  2. Haven't notice that on mine, but I'll keep an eye on that. I have only had it for a little less than a month
  3. If you like th griptilian you'll love the presidio. It's obviously heavier being aluminum but it's awesome for EDC especially for defensive purposes. I really like the scales, they are super grippy. You just slide your thumb in your pocket and out comes the knife! Plus it's nasty sharp!
  4. Benchmade Presidio Tanto Plain Edge I love the tanto blade without the serations, its almost imposible to find knives without serations on tanto points oh yeah I got an iPad too
  5. Let's be honest it was probably more like 16 years old
  6. missed this post, but Frontier Firerams has two stainless ATI commanders and a coated full size. There has been some negative noise from the owner here on a thread but if you really want one they have them. Just FYI
  7. Bubba, at the East TN meet and shoot a gentleman (sorry I cant remember name or Screen name) had a large pelican style case with 5 1911's inside. I can't remember all the models but a couple were springfield and one was an American Tactical Imports commander size. I asked him out of the 5 which he like the best, and to my suprise he said the ATI. Lots of rounds down the tube, no hiccups, eats any ammo. He gassed it up and said "go for it" so I sent a couple mags full down range, and it felt nice, just like a 1911 should no ftf or fte. Now it didnt have front strap checkering or a pretty shiney finish (altough you can get one from ATI that shines) but it was a good weapon.
  8. I carry a Kimber Pro Eclipse, either IWB or OWB depending on weather. it was heavy at first, but now I feel weird without it. Some one here has a funny signature that says "I carry a .45 cause they dont make a .46", its commical but true. I wouldnt give up my .45 for .380 thats for sure. You just have to choose whats best for you and let the critics go eat s#!+ with the chickens!
  9. clear your inbox. I ordered 5 decals, if you want a couple of them I would be happy to take a check. Let me know, and when I get them I will send you a PM with address and such (johnson city). with shipping it came to $2.70 per sticker. Neil Lumber_Jack
  10. Kimber pro eclipse first, G19 second. Love my .45 acp!
  11. Umm yeah, never mind then, that's not right
  12. To frontier, I have shopped there often. You actually have good prices on glocks. As for now on, I will shop elsewhere
  13. That's what we're looking for
  14. Nice weapon! BTW don't sweat the plastic MSH, by all means change it if you want, but it will work just fine. My kimber has almost 3k rounds and a plastic MSH. just don't drop it
  15. Sorry I missed the thread guys, I too was unaware of last years effort and what PIF was. I should have investigated further. I will gladly contribute on the next venture.
  16. So did you make it? See any elk?
  17. Hope everyone has a good day, remember our troops that give us a free country where we can express thankfulness! Thanks to TGO support for giving us a place to meet and exchange info. Thanks ultimately to Jesus Christ who died so that we can all be truly free
  18. great info thanks
  19. So what is the best way to test for things like bullet expansion and penetration. I am specifically talking about my 41 magnum revolver. I have several brands of hunting ammo with different weight bullets and was looking to test one to another for accuracy, expansion and penetration. Anyone have a method for doing this?
  20. Wow I guess I type slow I was beat to the post by TWO people.
  21. I got the feeling from the first post that this probably was NOT company policy but a manager that was claiming so to avoid confrontation. Non of the Walgreens in Knoxville are posted. And now from the signs posted above, my suspicions have increased. BTW that sign does not qualify as posting. It is not illegal in the state of TN to carry where alcohol is served or sold. Even before the restraint carry bill you could still carry where it was sold for off site consumption.
  22. Ditto for me on that!
  23. I'd say physics was not her strong suit! And apparently neither is motherhood!
