  1. You using infrared? Mine never come out in color unless it has a flash.
  2. I would agree with Eric. UT, but especially on a football/basketball game day. Its often dark and long walks. I carry a knife but that doesn't give me much comfort.

    Kimber

I too have a Kimber Eclipse Pro, it has been excellent. I will agree that swapping the mags is a good idea. However I must admit that I carry mine with the factory mag, as it has been flawless. Others though have not been as lucky as me. I too would like to replace the plastic mainspring housing. It works fine and has a very minimal chance of breaking, but it's just an upgrade I would like.
  4. If it were me I would Go with the Scarpa simply because of the gore-Tex. Does it matter if they are Automatic crampon compatible? I have a close friend who loves these Scarpa Men's Triolet Pro GTX Boot - Free Shipping on Scarpa orders over $49 at Moosejaw I really don't think you will be disappointed with any of your choices. I have had great experience with both brands in non-mountaineering boots.
  5. I'd love to get a turn on the ZT. I haven't posted much in the blade forum, but I'm sure Fred will vouch for me. Eric, you can send me a PM when you're done and I'll send my address. Depending on how long it is I may be in Knox or may be in JC. Thanks Steve, Love the idea of a test drive.
  6. Welcome, my carry is an Eclipse Pro II. Jump in, and join the fun.
  7. Bingo
  8. No if it was a HiPoint it would be heavy and ugly, but it would go bang!
  9. Ok, so I had the wrong App I was using Snapbucket which is a camera/editing app. Now that I have the correct app it works great. Thanks guys. And as a test…lap dogs
  10. That's me for sure. I fall asleep while watching baseball only to awake to bitch at my wife for changing the channel. "I was watching that". 30yrs on the outside 70 on the inside.
  11. I know, I've heard the story. I just don't thinks it's the civil rights issue that others do. I've carried numerous loaded mags in Knoxville gun shows. If you don't show them they can't take it. Mainly just thought it seemed odd that he asked in sincerity. Maybe there was some resentment behind the question.
  12. I didn't get to watch the video before commenting. After seeing the vid I feel my point in driven home.
  13. Sadly this is true. I feel like his daughter is soooo fake all the time. It's unbearable. It has potential to be good but some producer got his hands on it and screwed it up in the name of Awe factor.
  14. I took a good Percocet nap today. That was pretty good
  15. Yeah, the issue I seem to have is only a portion of the code is visible with the window. And iphone wont let me copy the code. I tap on it and it highlights briefly but won't copy like normal text. This is true on the mobile site as well as the full version. I just cant seem to get the code copied. Email works but that's just a third step I have to use. Just looking for easier options
  16. I got my first cell phone in 2003, before I took my first job in Colorado. Turns out the phone didn't even work when I got there. But to now say I couldn't use my phone would be really tough, almost impossible. 15 years ago there were pay phones on every corner, in an emergency what would you do? Can anyone even tell the last time they saw a functioning pay phone? I think what worries me the most is what would happen of cell service collapsed as a whole. Communication would be next to impossible for most. The ability to communicate at a moments notice has changed our society. Some ways good, some ways bad. I do believe though there are many people out there that can say there lives were saved due to access to a cell phone.
  17. So getting pictures from my iPhone to TGO is a nightmare. I use photobucket currently but the mobile site is impossible to retrieve the HTML code. Does anyone have a good or at least decent way to post pics using your mobile device?
  18. Ellie is brown and Daisy is blonde. Both Maltese/Poodle mix These are the girls that run the house, besides my wife that is. Never thought I would have small lap dogs but it turns out they are pretty good companions. Some day when I have an adequate outside area I would like to have a "man's dog". But I have to say these dogs are smart and that's the only kind to have.
  19. You got enough ammo for that? Talk about dollar bills flyin down range, pricey
  20. Nope, but I carry concealed, and don't get in trouble. You can carry in restaurants there but you're not allowed to sit in the "Bar" area. I frequented Hunts Oyster Bar, but I didn't determine that the bar was for alcohol as much as for shucking oysters. So I sat there while carrying, might be a fine line for an LEO.
  21. That's kind of what I assumed but wasn't too sure. I did notice the vast difference in number of forms filed for firearms
  22. Bimmer, Why is the difference in the two charts? The first says "number of NFA forms processed by FY" the second says "number of NFA Firearms processed". There is a steady incline in "forms" but a bell shape for "firearms"
  23. NM, Google wins again
