Man blows off leg shooting Tannerite rifle targets

Shooter is the one that lost his leg. -
I'd welcome his loss at this point

It may not be 100% but it GREATLY reduced the risk if ticks are removed within 24hrs. I've probably had encounters with more ticks than most people on this site combined. I used permethrin on field clothes. One issue was carrying ticks back into the house on clothes to be found later. So I started shedding all clothes at the door. Gather them up and take them straight to the dryer. Put them in on high for 15 mins and all ticks will be dead...they'll be on the lint filter so clean that. Then all that's left is checking yourself thoroughly and removing any found.

I think your girlfriend may have just been unlucky, but I can understand bad personal experience is hard to overcome

Yes but they make ones that are virtually invisible, under the flash hider

My sister has a 2014 Ford Escape and she loves it. I know someone else recommended them above but just wanted to throw a "2nd" out there. They made some major changes to them over the early models that were pretty basic and very rough around the edges.

http://reason.com/blog/2016/03/08/jury-acquits-woman-arrested-for-protecti So I can't pretend to know what this family is like or their history with the cops or what even caused the cops to be called. But what is clear is that a WV state trooper pulled a gun on a dog after responding to a domestic call of neighbors fighting. The dogs owner stepped between the dog and the officer to prevent the shooting of the dog and she was arrested for obstruction. The jury acquitted her of those charges yesterday, mainly based on video evidence her husband had from his cell phone. That cell phone wich was confiscated by the troopers and held for weeks. Now I'm not cop bashing and I can even see cause for handcuffing the girl (maybe) but if law enforcement had easy access to that phone, the video could easily be deleted. Now I have known many WV state troopers in the county this happened and all the ones I know wouldn't delete the video just for spite or to get a charge to stick, however, there are plenty of dirtbag people in this world and some of them become law enforcement. I think it shows a good example of how cell phone privacy could be your best ally if you find yourself on the wrong side of a jail cell.

It will be. We see lots of the high price Tesla's here in Nashville already. If I were rich I'd already have one

So the Honda CRV gets 30mpg, is that not good enough? If not, you either have to get a diesel or a hybrid. Hell I can't help much I get 13mpg

Why are we having an issue with applying a tourniquet? It's only "non-life threading" AFTER you stop the bleeding. A tourniquet can be applied safely for several hours without risking loss of limb.

"Auditory Exclusion" often happens in fire fights. But doesn't prevent actual hearing loss. It's just the brains lack of perception of noise due to stress or other factors.

Broken record here, Dickel Barrel Select. I find myself here almost 3:1 against everything else in the cabinet.

I actually thought "the day after tomorrow" was watchable. Sure then premise is garbage and acting is suspect but by far not the worst movie I've ever seen

So my wife's iPhone 5s got water damage. The home button quit working. So we went and bought a new phone and had the Verizon SIM card swapped over. Now that about a week has passed the old phone is now working properly. Does the iPhone 5s 32 gig without SIM card have any value? The indicator inside the SIM card port was red indicating water had got in there. I hate to throw it away.

I can wait. What time of year is best to lay sod?
-
gotcha, wasn't aware of that being a system wide requirement. I did see they have been "pre-sale" since May of 2015, per a facebook post
-
So my first concern was the legitimacy of the "pre-order". However, if this all comes to fruition, I will likely get one.

honestly I'm the same way, and really don't care a whole lot about how it looks. If I can walk out there and not track mud back in the house, I'd probably be satisfied.

If you're going to carry it more than just a couple times a year, buy the G29. If you don't plan to carry it much get the G20. They're both awesome. I have the G29 with the grip extension on mags. It's pretty awesome, and I traded a G20 to get it because I wanted to carry it. Otherwise there are few guns I like more than the full size G20 with full power 10mm ammo

So we moved into a new house last year on June. It's a shotgun style, long and skinny. The back yard is small 30x30. There are also small grass patches between us and the neighbor. The issue is its all extremely shaded. Very little sun gets to the side yards or back yard. The back has lots of weeds and bares spots. What do y'all recommend as a method to get more grass. I know they make shade tolerant seed, but do I need to prep the ground? fertilize? just throw the seed out?
