  1. We'll see if they go back and delete all there posts once they realize how many people they pissed off
  2. I also believe the "departing from ones normal behavior applies to emails too?". Are we supposed to read between the lines here. JUST SAY YOU ARE SORRY
  3. What I don't think you understand is how highly regarded Dolomite is here. He is a friend to all. And if you wronged him, you have wronged us all. I have no need to visit your store your response to him is sufficient enough for me. I still see no apologies for an absolutely uncalled for response to his email
  4. Let's face it Acadamey is not the "Savior" to all gun related. They are just another competitor in the market that will have competitive prices and available stock. Things will change with customer service as time goes on. I have not been there yet, but will probably Monday evening.
  5. Indeed.com Simplyhired.com Both of these are great job sites for both part time and career. I would call your local UPS they hire not only drivers but also warehouse positions
  6. I think this serves a purpose but it's obviously not for everyone. And yes if you saw someone in Kroger with that bag you'd say "that guys packin". I like the first bag for a day hike situation where carrying on your person can be uncomfortable. I could use the computer bag for sure. I work in the Forestry Business so carrying that type of computer bag would not look out of the ordinary.
  7. I agree completely. It's like he held the football organization as gods. He was 'shocked' by what he saw but was too scared of bringing down the Kingdom. So instead Sandusky gets to rape boys for 9 more years. Sickening
  8. I'm in Johnson City until Monday, so I won't be able to go. But I do plan to go Monday evening.
  9. Punctuation is a wonderful thing. ...,with over 3000 rounds, every day!
  10. PSU statement said McQueery will not be coaching Saturday due to threats on his life
  11. Just for the record I carry a Kimber eclipse II with over 3000 rounds every day. I don't loose any sleep. I understand it's preference but I have no problem with MIM parts or Kimbers.
  12. Knoxville store opens tomorrow
  13. I heard "sources" reporting that he won't be coaching this weekend. I believe that's a precursor to being fired. Just for the record I agree with you. But there is a whistle blower law in PA, and I know the university is in damage control at this point. If they fired him thy may be susceptible to lawsuit since he did technically report the incident. But I agree he is spineless for not helping that boy
  14. Actually my Mac book and iPhone work fine, my iPad consistently logs me out. IDK
  15. One of my favorites, TRP. Bought it brand new for $1050 at Austin's in Oak Ridge. most sell for $12-1400 but can be found cheaper. If you can find one in your price range, DO IT, you won't regret it.
  16. All my 80s series work just as well as the 70s.
  17. For those of you that know ETO used to be a hiking, backpacking, climbing store. Well I went in there today and it has changed modes, still geared towards hiking and outdoors, but with more survivalist type gear. Had a good first aid section, several good knives, Many new Maxpedition packs as well as military issue packs and harnesses. The still carry a few hiking boots and some good Sherpa brand outdoor clothing. For anyone looking for hiking or emergency preparedness, you should check them out. they are on Southerland Ave in Knoxville. Also they are having a food preparation demonstration on Saturday Nov 19th, showing some cast iron cooking recipes as well as Meat Drying techniques without using a dehydrator. I spoke with the owner briefly and he said that if anyone was interested in a specific type of class or seminar that you could get 4 or 5 people together and let him know he would conduct according to needs. I was talking about backcountry fly fishing and he mention he could put together pack loading and gear balance demo as well as first responder situations and how to prepare for hazards of that activity. I didn't get the mans name but I believe he used to work part time at Frontier Firearms before it moved to the new location. I do know that he has worked with Knox County search and rescue, so I feel he has been trained accordingly. Just thought I would pass along the info, here is a link to their website and facebook page Welcome to Earth Traverse Outfitters. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Earth-Traverse-Outfitters/116053076627
  18. I do this very thing anytime I use a holster with a body gaurd option. Both my DM Bullard and my MTAC, but use full grip when drawing from either of my Galco holsters. As long as its repeatable and consistent I don't see the problem.
  19. I had a Benelli SBE II, for a long time and I loved that gun. The inertia recoil system is awesome. Not only do you not have gas ports to clean but it really softens 3.5"magnums to a very tolerable level. It breaks down very easily for cleaning. I k ow the Vinci is slightly different but if I were buying a shotgun today, Benelli hands down.
  20. I feel the same as 10-ring, but I also don't think it's fair to put a bucket of Jelly doughnuts out and shoot the bear that comes in, but that's the way it's done in the northern Midwest and Canada.
  21. Gideon's War - Howard Gordon. For those that don't know he was the writer for the TV series 24. Some say it's a bit trite, which may be true but I thought it was a fun read. Very fast, some might even finish in a day or so. I'm a slow reader and finished it over a weekend.
  22. I just can't understand why people feel cyclists should pay a road tax. They don't cause damage to the road. You could ride bikes for a hundred years and never have to repair a paved road.
  23. S&W 657 3" 41 Magnum Lew Horton. They are out there I just can't pay whats being asked.
  24. I mean really, wait any longer and the zombies would have been here already!
  25. Welcome, glad to have you
