  1. Actually, check out his thread he started in the TGO Support Forum. I believe David banned him for public airing of grievances.
  2. Well I never said you didn't, but to say its a beginner weapon in just silly . But I believe you have been banned so I doubt you will even read this.
  3. But to most shooters, even non-entry level, MIM will last their lifetime. unless your competitive or shoot 10,000 rounds per year, it's irrelevant except the gun costs less.
  4. Magoo just posted another complaint of 'Incomplete Transaction'. Not piling on, but it appears wizard is making his case without replying.
  5. Thats the word Im hearing too. The commission had no clue what they were doing. THey specifically wanted to catch a select few who were transporting live hogs, and in turn have destroyed the ablity to affectively hunt hogs in TN. The website state that "hunting hogs has shown no significant impact on the population".....well this is true when managed as a big game species with all the rules and regs. Turn the public loose with and all inclusive exemption, bait, night, trapping, etc. if it were a "shoot all hogs on sight" I cant beleive that wouldnt impact the poplutation some.
  6. I believe the problem is beyond control. I just like my clubs to be able to hunt them, and control the herd. I think the lack of hog killing is going to cause and intesive spike in the popultaion. I know for a fact one hunter in Fentress county killed 81 hogs on our tracts last year, and now is technically unable to hunt. And the fentress county property is a 10,000 acre contiguous tract, so we cant permit all clubs to hunt, just one, so its unfair and pointless to grant just one club the permit.
  7. THey give you a permit number over the phone to use until the paper info comes in the mail. its all electronic base so the LEO just has to call in the permit number to verify validity.
  8. True, but I'm lazy....far more lazy than safety conscious.
  9. Now that the iOS 5 has tabs in safari for iPad, as long as I do t close the 'tab' I can stay logged in. I've never had a problem with MacBook pro. But I haven't found the missing link as to why mine works and other peoples doesn't.
  10. Same problem but only on my iPad. iPhone, Mac, PC all fine. Haven't found a solution yet
  11. Also meant to say it seams TWRA is just flying by the seat of their pants here, continuously changing the rules. Since its no longer 'Game' this could change constantly
  12. So I called TWRA today to get the 4 tracts we lease on the exemption permit and add the leasors to the '10 additional' list. Well apparently if you entered into a contract to lease land prior to Sept 15th there is no 10 person limit. The exemption permit extends to the entire hunt lease group. All I had to do was all and register the lease, and apparently the land cannot be contiguous and permitted to two separate clubs. This presents a problem for large tracts that are broken into smaller leases. So in summary if you have a hunt lease that is not part of a larger contiguous tract already permitted, have your landowner call and register. The permit expires on Dec 31 and will be reissued after hog harvest data is reported.
  13. That was too early to count as a true testament to LSU or Oregon early season hiccups. I would rather see that matchup again than Alabama LSU.
  14. As long as traffic moved at some rate and was not completely stopped....I'd say never
  15. I just don't see the big deal. It's a SLIGHT inconvenience at most. We just can't have fun anywhere anymore.
  16. I thought the LSU- Bama game was very boring. I didn't see two great defenses as much as two inept offenses. I'd like to see an offense that can normally score lots of points play either of them. I guess we'll see once Arkansas plays LSU next week
  17. The runners pay the same tax as you. The event lasts a couple hours maximum. Usually starting at 8 am on a Saturday when traffic is the lightest. It's obviously going to cause an inconvenience for some people, but they really are scheduled to minimize the local traffic impact. And at most will only have a few a year, and the locations will rotate around.
  18. Google Model-7144 wt1100 guns-51 dim-71 x 44 x 26 cubic feet-47 This is a digital lock, sale stated it would be manual Inside diagram
  19. 1) they closed the lane for runners safety. Even with a wide shoulder most road runs will close a lane. It just helps prevent that 'one tragic accident' that would plague any event. I'd assume this was some charity driven event as most are. 2)I have no idea. I'd have to speculate that he was told to close the intersection. I can't imagine he'd stop the flow of traffic out of laziness. I could be wrong but doesn't seem plausible. Again I'd say this had to do with runners safety. I know you were delayed and that can be frustrating, but these road runs(races) are a great thing. The help raise money and awareness for charities plus it helps people get motivated to be healthy and exercise. Id trade 20min of my Saturday for a healthier more generous America. just some facts mixed with a lot of opinion here.
  20. Buddy of mine shot this one on Saturday morning in Rhea county. He was hot after a doe. 12 pt
  21. This. You can always buy a threaded barrel and had it fitted later if you want a suppressor. But if you KNOW you are gonna suppress it later then it won't matter
  22. Rule number 1)Be Patient. It's hard but some days you may not see any deer at all. I have killed two very nice deer in north Morgan County. They are there, just about being in the right place at the right time.
  23. What, y'all don't carry 374 spare mags? What are you gonna do when you need to reload? I have very sturdy belt.
  24. Right now I'm watching people freeze their arse off and shoot deer on TV. Much more comfy in my recliner. Good luck JohnnyFox it's addictive.
  25. Ditto for me. Grown a$$ men don't mistakenly not report child molestation. It's intentional.
