  1. If you're willing to spend $1500 I would buy either a Springfield TRP( I own one) or a Dan Wesson Valor. You can do adequate interwebz research on both. I actually bought my TRP brand new for $1175 out-the-door. So if you look around at local gun shops you can find good deals from time to time. Now if your price point in not that high, I can recommend others but I'd start there.
  2. Yeah that kinda puts a damper on going, doesn't it. I was unaware it wasn't open the public.
  3. It specifically said he followed them to report the license plate. It also said they declared they were officers when exiting the car with weapon drawn. Now I'm not saying Estep didn't exit the car first and act aggressive, bit still believable that the cops were to blame as well.
  4. I believe he was describing the 4 way traffic light. He was heading north on Weisgarber just in front if Fire station, birds were exchanged, and the Estep was caught at the traffic light. What happened after that is probably fault of all parties involved. But for the officers to draw weapons is just irresponsible. PS I think when he said "anyone could be hit" he was referring to bullets not cars, right?
  5. Oh, I missed that, I use Tapatalk and that limits some of my forum exposure. Thanks
  6. I live by the motto "everything I have is for sale for the right price". But I'd think long and hard before parting with my G19. The way I see it, if you have an XD, why not try a Glock? If you don't like it you can sell it fast, less tax and background. Especially if it's a 19
  7. I'd say Blackberry is on the verge of going tango uniform. I don't know if that affects support down the road or not.
  8. You should post a How-to, from skinning to finish on tanning a hide
  9. My dad has one too, from Korea. I believe you are correct on those had Coyote fur.
  10. You're the first one I've seen to actually own one. So keep us posted on how you like it.
  11. PS nice looking yote!
  12. I asked the same question I another thread and got "dispose of the carcass per the landowners direction". So in other words whatever you want. Pelts aren't with much unless you have A LOT and have a buyer.
  13. We used to practice knife fighting defense with the fat type sharpie markers. Leaves definitive "cut" symbols. Until one day my buddy had to get 12 stitches in his chin from the marker. We don't do that anymore. But you'd be surprised how hard it is to keep from getting cut when defending against a knife. Let's just say if you enter into a knife fight, you're gonna bleed!
  14. I carry a 5" in a Galco, probably $50 or so. Works great
  15. No not personally, he hangers it most of the time in Alabama, part time in Knoxville.
  16. Considering the plane probably cost 3 million I'd say fuel cost is not part of the equation
  17. Depending on date I could, some weekends I'm in tri cities others in Knoxville.
  18. Apparently Stower as in 'Stower Caterpillar' owns one. He has a share in a hanger at McGee Tyson.
  19. Awesome, what's the exact TGO code?
  20. Could have just been passing through on the way to an air show elsewhere. I'm on my way to a buddy's house who flys for the Air Guard at McGee Tyson. I'll ask him.
  21. +1 I could do this, but probably not before 11:30 or so. Of course you could start without me, you have my permission 😉
  22. Both links, this one and Garufa's post took me to 608 Choptak road, Tn. I am using an iPhone though, maybe there is some mobile/PC backlash
  23. Good luck buddy What's your specialty. I'm currently in the job hunt in tri-cities, if I see something I'll let you know.
  24. I like the 7th, 14th & 28th of January. I'd like to come just depends on the date and possible out-of-town work.
  25. the problem is lack of supply from Ruger. Once production catches up to demand I'd say they'll be readily available. Why didn't you just buy the TRP
