  1. Carbine is the most reliable but recoil is harder on parts. Mid-length was designed to be more reliable than rifle-length without the harshness of carbine. I'd say go either way, you most likely won't wear out a carbine unless you are really gonna shoot a lot. PS the RRA is on order so it may take 2-3 weeks to get in. This is straight from Joebobs mouth. I asked him last week.
  2. Midway has a 89-piece gunsmithing screwdriver set by Wheeler Engineering on sale for 62.99. Should have every bit you would ever need.
  3. Nice, does the R1 Enhanced come in two tone? Looks good!
  4. Or this one Carbine length, Comes with free float quadrail http://www.JoeBobOutfitters.com/Rock_River_Arms_LAR_15_Fall_Special_Carbine_Quadra_p/rra-bb1000.htm
  5. Elite Tactical Carry II in Tiger Stripe. Installed on my TRP. Christmas present from my parents.
  6. I loved the Kimber I had, sold it only to fund other gun purchases. However I do not like the ultra(3") 1911s. They have more problems, regardless manufacturing company. A lot have non problems whatsoever, but others are wrought with issues. I wouldn't hesitate to trade for a 4" or full size Kimber.
  7. Ruger LCP from the wife Clothes, new fishing waders, fish net, set of VZ grips for 1911, will update with pics later
  8. Yeah I was surprised all I had seen previously just came it the white box. It's a nice box. That's first on the list, otherwise I'm anxious to get some rounds down range.
  9. Ruger LCP, first pocket pistol. Gotta love a good wife
  10. I assume all are welcome, otherwise Id never make the invite list!!!
  11. Merry Christmas everyone. Glad to be a member of such a great community, even if y'all are wrong sometimes and I have to tell you about it.
  12. Thats awesome, love the slide finish.
  13. I'm well aware it's not bourbon, but the "top shelf bourbon, Tennessee whiskey, Canadian whiskey, scotch, wheat, or rye whiskey" was too long. plus you got my point
  14. These were my thoughts exactly. it's a stretch but I'd say that the loophole.
  15. • #9 cleaning solvent •Hoppe's #9 oil •Mil-Comm TW-25 Grease in Syringe •Long cotton swabs from Brownells •Short sharp point cotton swabs from Brownells •Old t-shirts for patches and external cleaning
  16. Does this change it's validity?
  17. It wouldn't matter, you couldn't find one of they did make it.
  18. I spent 45 mins staring at every suggestion that's been mentioned here, haha. I guess that means most of them are good. I ended up with JD Single Barrel.
  19. +1 And just because they don't get charged doesn't mean they aren't guilty.
  20. Not unless you have access to DMV records. You would have to have an LE agency do the search
  21. I've seen one at coal creek armory in Knoxville. Looked nice, good fit and finish. I just didn't like the stainless steel beavertail in contrast to the coated everything else. Otherwise I'd give it a fair shake
  22. I won't let my wife go shopping alone after dark. Either her mom goes with her or I go. I understand this is not always possible but I try to make it a rule as often as I can. When she does end up going alone she parks in well lit areas as close to the doors as possible.
  23. Why can't we watch Monday Night Football. Alex Jones spews that bull***** daily. I am a smart adult, I am perfectly capable of enjoying television and keeping up with topics all at the same time. Me sitting around stewing on whether or not this was gonna pass would affect nothing in reality. I do think this is awful for the American people but it's not gonna ruin my life.
