  1. I would not have been able to walk away from that maroon. I would have rather been asked to leave by a manger than simply let him continue on, ranting obsurdities.
  2. Yes yes, great time. Even if I did use 20rnds to hit the tannerite at 30yds with everyone watching Thanks Jeff. It was nice to see some fresh faces and a few old ones. Sent from my Mom's basement
  3. I think if you can afford it, they're worth the money. I couldn't, so I bought a TRP. Now one could say, " throw in 700 more and get an Ed Brown. But to me $700 is quite a large chunk. It's all about what you are willing to pay. I guarantee you won't be disappointed as long as you don't sell your soul to buy one. Sent from my Mom's basement
  4. So according to this thread you should get either a 9,40, or 45. Sent from my Mom's basement
  5. I vote DW Valor VBOB. I carry 1911 and if i had the extra scratch I'd buy one for sure. Sent from my Mom's basement

  9. Yet another unfounded, broad based, generalization. Sent from my Mom's basement
  10. Is it compatible with tapatalk? I know this is a small concern in the grand scheme. Just curious Sent from my Mom's basement
  11. I smell a cover up by Remington. BTW I wouldn't wipe my ass with a set of Michelin tires. Sent from my Mom's basement
  12. I'm from Parkersburg, I also left to go to a good school (UT). Still love my Mounties though. Sent from my Mom's basement
  13. And the other 5% are members here Sent from my Mom's basement
  14. I thought drug raids were best done early in the AM. At least that's what I was told by a friend from the DEA. I'm not second guessing their tactics, just wondering if that was true. Sad the officer died. Hope the perp gets a seat on ol sparky. Sent from my Mom's basement
  15. As a born an raised Mountaineer, I love it! Sent from my Mom's basement
  16. Alex Jones entire show today was dedicated to how the Iowa caucus was rigged. I almost vomited twice. I only listed about 2 mins at a time, and heard the same **** over and over. Callers calling in saying "the lights went out for 15 secs when the votes were collected" and that was a literal caller! Sent from my Mom's basement

If you can find a used 226 for $500, then the answer is NO. unless you plan on swimming in the ocean and then shooting bad guys.
  19. I bought that in WV, when I was at my parents over Christmas. They probably had 10 boxes. I think certain stores in high sale, rural areas, get more stock than others.
  20. i am amazed at the amount of pitting from sweat on the uncoated metal. just goes to show why they put the coating on in the first place, i guess. at least they did it for free, but I agree they should have given you a new frame for free.

considering a plain P226 goes for $850 without night sights. Id say its par for the course. I saw one in Knoxville gun shop for $1048, i think.
  22. Yeah I've been hypothermic as well. Shivering uncontrollably, shirt of breath, light headed, nauseous. very unpleasant, but pain is merely a function of reality or memory. If your dead it's irrelevant. Sent from my Mom's basement
  23. It's still worth a good chunck of change. Arguably still worth $750, especially with upgraded parts. But that's just my opinion. Sent from my Mom's basement
