  1. Just to follow up, my reprint arrived about the timeframe they said 7-10 days, and it looks good now.
  2. I bought an Arcan XL 35 from Northern Tool because I needed over 20" of jacking height. I haven't had it long enough to speak for longevity but it works great. http://m.northerntool.com/products/shop~tools~product_200345429_200345429?hotline=false
  3. So the leaf wilt and the bark crack may or may not be related. The bark could be wind shake and the leaves drought. There is also a chance they're related. There could be a fungus or canker under the bark causing both.
  4. Is it just the bark or is the wood underneath cracked too?
  5. If it's just the bark I'd say it's probably lack of water. Maples have very shallow bark and are very susceptible to sunscald , frost cracking and other ailments. This tree is awfully big to be typical sunscald. It very well could be wind shook. Had any bad storms recently?
  6. @gregintenn new fishing charter
  7. These were designed for outdoor expeditions, like off-shore fishing, week long hunting and fishing trips. Everyday Joe doesn't need this, but if you do need it, its better than any option prior to Yeti. Now there are lots of companies jumping on the production band wagon and that's driving the prices down. Is this overpriced, probably, but maybe not if you run a guide service. It could literally last forever.
  8. As a native Mountaineer its a fact for sure. My mother who just turned 63 is going to now start carrying a snub 38 to her job at the probation office. I've told her for years to get a permit and carry, but the whole class and inconvenience of permit process dissuaded her. "she knows how to shoot and doesn't need the state to prove it" I'm glad they passed it. Of course, if you want to travel out of state you still have to have a permit, which the state still offers if you choose.
  9. I would only be hesitant to use in an open fireplace due to sparks flying when popping. If using in a stove it will work fine, but like others have said it will burn fast. and for those looking at Poplar value as for lumber, its very minimal. It is used often and makes great stainable lumber, but its value is very low on the stump. I'm talking, an 18" tree with 2 16' logs would be like $40-60
  10. I got a notification that my reprint has shipped. So it was actually faster than quoted. probably won't be here until Sat or Monday
  11. If you're unsatisfied I'd contact them. There is an option to upload photos with your complaint. You can attach that one, and I bet they'll reprint.
  12. Yeah not the quickest turnaround but considering the logistics of getting it setup to print and such, it's reasonable. No big deal #### happens.
  13. They said it takes 5days to complete a reprint. So to expect 7-10 total for arrival.
  14. So mine came and the front logo is janked up. It's 1/2" out of round. 4" on one axis 4.5" on the opposite. I contacted TeeSpring and they are going to print and send a new one at no charge. So good customer service on their part.
  15. So they're still for sale, just not on display? Seems to be playing both sides of the fence here.
  16. I think most of the traffic was Saturday and Sunday. There were record numbers of passengers, something like 21K and 23k respectively.
  17. The crawl control is a really nice feature, I have it on my FJ. It works in more than just sand... mud, snow, slick rocks, it's pretty impressive, but not a deal breaker as far as a buying option. I would, however, buy one with the rear locking diff and A-Trac. A-Trac to me is more useful for more situations and is equally as impressive. Basically, it works in 4 low and distributes power to non-slipping wheels by using the ABS. They key is to keep about 1500rpms of throttle and the truck will work itself up the terrain. Crawl works similarly but gives throttle automatically according to the dial setting you have selected.
  18. I expect pictures and a full report. What specific model did you buy?
  19. Keep posting the Elmer when available. Hopefully I can coordinate a Knox trip with availability. Also I'll grab one of those Blanton's. When do you think they'll be in?
  20. Sources are saying looks like the pilot road it in, trying to avoid houses.
  21. Lets face it here. Most of these secondary brands are going to be just as good. What Yeti did is not rocket science they were just the first to market with a product.
  22. man I hate not living in Knoxville anymore
  23. Yeah I probably won't buy anything that could easily be found here. Just an oddball if there is such a thing. We've been before but I never really shopped for booze. We'll be on a cruise so only on land for the day.
  24. I think the issue right now is finding an RTIC or waiting for them to actually ship, which is supposed to be soon. I love the Orion coolers all around but they are a hefty price for sure.
