  1. Interesting. Keep us posted on fixes and how well you can get it to run.
  2. Gordon, my prayers are with you and your family in this time of grief. If there is anything you need just let me know.
  3. Yeah I've just used my barrel but will be purchasing the case gauge soon. You shouldn't have to field strip a gun to test a couple loads.
  4. Yeah I have a 19 and a 20. Most definitely don't fit the same holster. 20s are hard to find period.
  5. Yeah G, go see a urologist. Like you said, it should be dealt with even if it's not cancer.
  6. Yeah I'd say 90% of those who voted for Keith had no idea who he was, let alone a resident at a Texas State Pen. A lot of my Facebook friends from my home state of WV are complaining it makes them look ignorant. I say it speaks to the piss poor job Obama has done.
  7. Timber rattlers generally don't. 3' is a big snake usually. But id say this one was eating good. There are always exceptions to the rule in nature.
  8. The article says it was 5'-6". I'm assuming they measured it.
  9. 5'-6" is a big timber rattler, no record as OS pointed out, but still BIG. I've seen ones up to 48" and thought that was huge.
  10. TGO doesn't discriminate.
  11. Plus to know the true statistical data we would have to separate from the 58%, those that would have died regardless of seatbelt use. We can't just assume that seat belts are miracle live savers. They are just a safety tool that when used properly can aid in surviving or reducing injury in a crash.
  12. 18 years old, I rolled a minivan. I may not have died, but injury would have been definite. You cannot say that a seatbelt, in a roll over crash, is not life changing. There's always the exception where wearing a belt would have resulted in death. A know a guy who was ejected through the windshield. The steering wheel was pinned to the seat in the aftermath. He would have most likely died had he remained seated. But that is no where near enough odds for me to not wear a belt on the slight chance I might survive the crash. Remember, there are things worse than dying. Surviving brutally maimed doesn't appeal to me much.
  13. If he were were selling merchandise as as a representative of TGO that might be one thing, but just displaying it to show membership shouldnt be a problem, at least I wouldn't think. I'll send ya one regardless.
  14. I've got a TGO sticker you can have. It's the last 'give away' one I've got. You could put it on your glass case. Pm me if you want it, I'll mail it to you.
  15. Good news. Apparently Demint is championing for him to raise funds because he spent so much money to win the primary. Hopefully this doesn't backfire and put a Dem in their spot.
  16. What about here? 100 for $10.95 http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/product_info.php/pName/100-223-556-usgi-stripper-clips
  17. If you want them we can work something out,
  18. I have 40 but then all you'll need is 160 more
  19. I think Mr Pincus is speaking for his experience and admits his class is extremely harsh environment. I just think if your going to the grocery you're not gonna need a battle tested pistol that can run 200 rounds continuously without failure; hell I only carry 2 mags. But I admit I don't own a 3" 1911 for this very reason. But I do carry a 5" 1911 50% of the time.
  20. Exactly. That's why I carry a 10mm it's faster than .40 and a 1 whole mm bigger than 9x19. Thoughts? Oh and I carry a 1911 too. Opinions?
  21. Picked up a Lyman 4 punch set at Randy's today. It was $18 and it had the sizes I wanted and seemed nice enough. Thanks 3gundave for the suggestion.
  22. Good luck G, rest assured that my pathologist father-in-law agrees that testicular cancer usually doesn't present pain. You very well could have a bulge in the vas differense known as Epididymitus. this is basically a wall of the tubes that feeds the 'boys' weekens and blows out like a ballon. I know this because I've had it before. Feels very much like getting T-bagged. Now it could be anything, so stay calm and let the docs due their work.
  23. Yeah, I don't see it as anyone getting 'approval' to carry a certain gun. Most are just wanting pros and cons of a specific platform. I've never seen a thread "_____ is what I carry, is that ok?" unless it was in reference to a small caliber.
  24. I'd even settle for the hospital discharge papers.
