  1. It's just part of the hip-hop culture he grew up in. I'm sure he does have some angst for the PoPo. Not saying its right or wrong. But I've seen plenty of blue color white men hate the cops too.

Agreed! It has to be a Dan Wesson. I've seen some markups in my time, but that would take the cake.

    CZ 97 .45. Not 1911 ~$700 Dan Wesson RZ 45 Heritage. 1911 ~$1300 Dan Wesson Valor .45. 1911 ~ $2000 Don't know of this helps but I thought I'd post some pics.

Well some new Dan Wessons are $1800 some are $1300 others are in between. I'm sure you can clarify on your next visit. And maybe your husband will know

Glad you had a good experience, good customer service is so refreshing. Not to confuse you, but as far as I know(which isn't much) all CZ 1911s are under the Dan Wesson name. They will have the CZ factory marks though. So unless something has changed the CZ you mentioned above is a 'Dan Wesson'. If I'm wrong please educate me.
  6. Yeah if it's up to Slim (got one eye looks off to the right) to do this physiological analysis then none of us would pass the test.
  7. because buying online is evil. if you buy it at Walmart you couldn't possibly have nefarious intentions
  8. Are they live primers? Gotta be careful beating the wife while she's wearing those!
  9. The Outpost Armory south of Murfreesboro has at least 1 in stock, and I heard the salesman mention they had a couple more coming. you might call them and see what they've got. I'm not sure of the price. +1 (615) 867-6789 5435 Miller Lane‎ TN‎ 37037
  10. Thanks mike, I'll call em tomorrow.
  11. Yeah I saw the one from SI, and read about the gas port in the reviews. Somehow I missed the other one. Anyone know the turnaround time on Model 1? The other thing is they don't list shipping cost until after you submit your order, anyone have experience? Just wanna make sure it's reasonable.
  12. Everywhere I look everything is "out of stock". It's almost ridiculous. Is this like the ammo crisis? If anyone has a link to some 300 barrels in stock, please share
  13. As I wouldn't open carry I to a theater because of obvious sensitivities, I see nothing wrong here. The police admitted that the sign was not obvious so therefore it's not proper, per the statute. The police acted, because just like any unposted buisness, the carrier can be asked to leave.
  14. Congrats man, I really like Sigs. And .45 to boot.
  15. I'd check Clinton Hwy north know Walmart. I'd even call turkey creek, they've had it before. It's rare to see 100rd packs much. They get bought pretty quick
  16. Being manufactured after 1985 or 84 whichever it is, makes it "post ban" and illegal for civilian ownership.
  17. Yep, but it's $1200. I'd like to see the performance before I dropped that coin + tax stamp.
  18. ...and that's why I asked. I mean most attackers don't have armor. very few stories to my knowledge where a domestic assailant wore armor. There are some, but not many.
  19. Mike, what powder do you use to load .458? Do you cast bullets or buy pre-cast lead, or just use jackets?
  20. I like him....and his music Glad he stands up and realizes what America was founded on.
  21. I carry a 10mm Glock most of the time, I carry a .45 other times . What would 2-4 good center mass shots have done, IF it were real body armor? I'm sure it would be rib breaking, but knock him down? Possible pass thru?
  22. That's a good point. Movie theaters often encourage exit out the doors to reduce congestion in hallways. Simply making them "emergency exit only" would solve way more here than any gun control.
  23. Well of it was a complete cloud of smoke, it would be limited usefulness. Think of high beams in dense fog. But I'm not sure how much smoke was truly emitted in the theater. So depending on your seat location would determine how much smoke. But its always better to have one just in case.
  24. I feel like its an accurate assessment. I feel like if I were one of the audience members I could have responded in the manner described. Could it have happened completely different, sure. I think a key to self defense in thy situation is having a bright flashlight. This was discussed in another thread, but it not only allows you to quickly see your target, but also provides a blinding affect to the attacker.
