Decibel reduction is subjective and can be manipulated by the type, angle and distance of the microphone, the type and quality of the sound measuring device, and the environment and atmospherics of where the test is made (indoors vs. outdoors, baffled walls or bare, cloudy or clear, windy or still.) Without using numbers to describe performance, our can makes a 5.56 sound about like a .22 Mag. I can’t wait to hear what it does with the .458. M&P Shield .40 It's a single stack mag, so it's slimmer. Of course the drawback is less rounds, but that's not a big deal to me. Khar PM 40 This one may be too small, like the Glock 27 only thinner. Springfield EMP 40 This one is pricey but it's slim and a great firearm.
