  1. The 238 & 938 are single action only pistols. Just like a 1911. They aren't 1911s in design just similar in some ways.
  2. I still vote Romney. If anything maybe a little more confident in my prediction than last poll. It's still gonna be a nail biter. And Election Day is my birthday, hopefully 4 more O's is not my present.
  3. Haha, me too. This is the second thread I thought that too, so I guess I'm doubly dumb.
  4. You're right what was I thinking, I bow at his feet. After all he has trained 15,000 people.
  5. I wasn't arguing as much as just stating my opinion. I don't think you'll find many here that have actually carried the holster, a few, but not many.
  6. I'll I know is that guys shirt is gay, oh and my 1911 works fine
  7. Well just because they are police officers doesn't mean they have thought out the safety implications. I wouldn't carry that holster under any circumstances. For the exact 3 reasons DaddyO stated above. I will not carry without covering the trigger, I will not carry without a round in the chamber, and I will not intentionally stick anything in the muzzle of a loaded gun. I wear boxers and an undershirt that could easily hook the trigger. I think you don't hear a lot of horror stories because people who carry guns a lot don't actually use this holster, even if they bought one.
  8. Haha, I'm pretty sure I confused the Simmons interference call an the infield fly. Sorry. The Simmons bunt where he ran in the freaking grass.
  9. Yeah, it's a rule to protect the runners from a double or triple play. Calling infield fly in that situation did nothing. If he catches it, there 2 out. If he drops it the braves score. It took point of the board. Freeman scored on that play.
  10. The infield fly rule can be called on the warning track if they wanted to, it's a judgement call, and I think the judgement was wrong! It was way to far out to be intentionally dropped for a forced double play. The call essentially took away an error that favored the braves. In the end it was the three huge errors by the braves that lost the game. I'm still mad that is how the game went, very disappointed. EDIT: Howler, I posted at the same time as you. Not arguing with your assessment.
  11. Great insight. Sorry you had to experience this, thanks for sharing.
  12. So a custom holster maker has a "in-stock" holster for a G30sf (45ACP). I have a G29.(10mm) Glock lists both slide length and slide width the same 177mm x 32.5mm. Can y'all think of any dimension on the SF model that would affect the fit on a standard model?
  13. The moderator is a liberal dinosaur, no one cares about him. Everyone I've seen comment (of my friends) seem to think Romney is doing great, even the liberals think he's winning.
  14. Yeah sorry, the .300 BLK barrels are not, according to their rep on arfcom. It's not a huge deal, just prefer not to have it on a .300.
  15. I don't want a Noveske, they're polygonal rifled. What have you heard specifically?
  16. .
  17. I guess I just happened to be on the page when you posted, and then looked at the link, and quoted you, without refreshing my screen. since you posted while I was looking at the screen it wont show the edit until it refreshes
  18. Yes all your mp3 and mp4 will load just fine. You just import into iTunes. You don't have to buy music from iTunes. If you have another source just use that and then import to iTunes, it's easy.
  19. That was the biggest load of bull#### I have ever heard. Let me sum up what they said. Lie, lie, lie, deny, lie, lie, call cops and medical staff liars. It's so funny watching all those d-bags standing in the back like secret service.

    beer snobs

Do y'all remember Barleys before they got started serving liquor? It was a beer Mecca, it's a shame it's changed. I'm gonna have to swing in the casual pint and check them out.
  21. I'll "dial in" anyone's Glock for only $200, this is a great service I offer and will really make your Glock a sweet shooter.
  22. well I have to say that if your life is in the balance having a Busse Bushwacker Mistress could make the difference. I am generally not super impressed with knives, I appreciate a good knife but never could see the value in buying a high end one. Well the Busse has changed may mind. This thing is awesome. It truely is a machete hatchet, and knife all in one durable heavy duty package. I use a machete at work to do certain tasks, and they work well, but are often to thin in the blade, and not very well balanced. so when chopping small trees or scraping bark of a tree you can get a lot of bounce and ricochet that can cause arm fatigue and just be unpleasant. The Busse has a heavy thick blade that makes chopping efficient, yet is amazingly well balanced so it doesn't feel like your swinging a board. I chopped down a 4" red maple, took about 5-10min I scraped the bark of a tree, which can be used to blaze a trail. This can be a difficult task as some trees have tough bark, but the Busse had no issues I baton split a piece of fire wood. It was dried, but red oak. Took about 30 secs to a min, to split clean through. Felt very sturdy when striking the blade and then to top it all off it still has an edge sharp enough to slice a thin piece of homemade bread all in all this knife is just bad ass, end of story. The only negative I have is the grip is just a little thin, and caused some fatigue in my hand when chopping. I have dry skin, and the scales were tough to hold onto, so this may have lead to the fatigue. This would be remedied with a few wraps of athletic tape or similar, if lots of chopping were to be required. Fred, thanks for sharing, on to the next.
  23. I have a vortex Strikefire, it's a great red dot for the price. I'd assume the Sparc is as well
