1. I have not used any of the summit accessories. I have a three prong screw that goes into the tree. And yes I have slept many hours in mine
2. That's basically my thoughts. Hogdon H335 min 22.5 grs, so I thought I'd start at an even 20 grs. I have 1000 boolits, so I'd like to say these are just for fun, but most will be SHTF stock, so some accuracy is desired, but minute of zombie is fine.
3. Yep I've known several road cyclists to use this formula. Works good for the "I must chase that fast moving object" mentality that affects most cyclists. don't know how well it works against true aggression.
4. So I'm gonna load some tracers soon, 62gr. Since they are about 1/4" longer than comparable 62gr bullets should I start below recommended minimum (22.5grs) for the powder and weight or should I be ok at the minimum? I'm assuming I can go above the minimum before I get to excessive pressure, but the Internet being what it is I've read all sorts of scenarios.
5. Awesome, love to see young hunters. Tell your boy not to worry, I've shot does as an adult that you could pick up and carry. Sometimes size is hard to determine when range is unknown.
6. This guy must be stupid. At no time do you EVER break any if the gun safety rules EVER!

Ruger SR9c

Good, that Ruger will make a great carry gun when you get your HCP, as you stated in your introductory thread. I've never actually fired one of the SR series pistols but many people love them.
8. Welcome, Glad to have you
9. He is seriously nocturnal. You're gonna need a spot light to kill that dude...... or a hot doe to draw him out.
10. How do I do it...... I don't. I used too, but like you I just find it uncomfortable. It really requires you to buy pants a size bigger, so then if you don't carry IWB then those pants don't fit right. I have just gone to OWB almost exclusively. When I didn't carry IWB I found the Comp-Tac MTAC holster to be pretty comfortable.
11. Secondly mine makes a lot of noise while in the backpack setup. I think summit had addressed this issue with a spray coating that deadens the sounds of the aluminum. But I'd pack it around some before taking it hunting to make sure it's not like carrying a cowbell into the woods.
12. I have a summit SS Viper. It's a great climbing stand, but yes it's a small foot platform and standing up can nerve racking, especially if its below freezing and like me you have on rubber boots. Summits are great stands, hands down. If you think the Titan is being enough I'd say go for it. One thing to think about, the larger it is, the mor cumbersome it is to carry into your hunting area. I find it difficult to carry the climber in in the dark and get setup before daylight. If you hunt in place you feel comfortable I would place the stand the night before. Then just hike in and climb the tree. I know this defeats the purpose of having a mobile stand, but can save some stress especially if you're like me and tend to be late every time I go hunting.
13. I'll agree with that!
14. That's weird about the gas port, that seems to be the running complaint on the Stoner barrels.
15.

You better plan on shooting your way out from the inside, Jonah and the whale style.
16. You shoot factory ammo? How did that stoner barrel perform? Looks good
17. This is like the dope smokers ultimate thread.
18. If you need directions from where you are pm me, otherwise any GPS should get you there.
19. Jacobs building Chilhowee Park 3301 E Magnolia Ave, Knoxville, TN
20. I just left, traffic was pretty light. And for the Jacobs building the show wasn't too crowded. Of course I just went straight to David's booth, got the hook up, and left.
21. I've always mixed candy corn and dry roasted peanuts(salted). I'll give the fritos a try, I ain't skeered.
22. I would suggest the Galco Miami Classic. http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPT3.asp?ProductID=2384&CatalogID=2 I would get a leather one for sure. I have had a nylon and its just not comfortable.
23. My wife went and bought me a gun for Christmas last year at Academy Sports. She outright told the clerk it was for her husband, hell she even called it a Rugger instead of Ruger. They didn't hesitate to let her buy it. I understand that some husbands/ wives can't own guns so they get their spouses to buy it, but if both husband and wife are there, I don't see the "straw buy" theory. Why can't the dealer just run both backgrounds and sell the gun? Can you only fill out one 4473 per purchase? Can one be called in without a transaction pending?
24. Yes the fit in yours isn't super tight but like I said that doesn't mean it's not accurate. The barrel will move when the slide is locked back. Your gun looks good. I'd try just shooting from a rest and see I you get better results.
25. Grundy & Sequatchie Counties are like the Wild West. Gruelti-Lager to Altamont east to Cagle. I'm sure that's where they take the bodies to not be found.
