  1. Well technically these are(would be) Brazilian made. They have been making turbo diesel off road trucks for years.
  2. Looking good man, progress. I'm hoping to get my lower put together this weekend.
  3. I don't like him because he is intentional inflammatory, and he comes off like a douche. If he would have labeled that video, "tips for buying your wife a defense weapon" and then proceed to his points without the "your an idiot" attitude, I say his teachings would be better received.
  4. I had a set of Tru Glo T3 on my G20 that worked well. And I like the Trijicons on my 1911. But to answer your question....No. Just save your pennies and get the good ones.
  5. The letter doesn't specify make or model. It simply refers to pistol and rifle.
  6. i think it could use some streamlining a little bit, and of course get a subdued paint scheme. I like the overall truck. With the success Toyota has had with the FJ, and continued following in the Jeep Wranglers, I don't see why they wouldn't produce the Broncos again, Same for Chevy and a full size 2 door blazer. This one appears to have a straight front axle, which is awesome!!! That in my opinion is one of the big draw backs of the FJ.
  7. The original thread on 300BLKTALK has been edited to remove the OP's posts. I get the gist of the argument, but cant read his acutal statements.
  8. on some guns, using the slide release can increase the risk of FTF. Probably not a issue with the Glock unless your recoil spring is shot. The extra compression you get from pulling the slide back gets slightly more energy to chamber the round. I practice mag changes at eye level, so your eyes can stay down range. you do have to point the pistol up but should be easy to reengage your target.
  9. I ditto Caster and Mike. I've had a broken firing pin Oma Remington 1100 shotgun, would fire sometimes, other times not. I'd at least try that as a first step
  10. Ah, also important to America!
  11. North Loudon County, near Roane county border. I see it every time I drive home from work. I only see it East bound, not sure if there is a West bound sign, it's usually too early for me to care.
  12. This would be my SECOND choice. if I can get reasonable accuracy for free, I'm gonna get that. If it comes back the same, then I agree, that a gunsmith could probably tighten that thing up.
  13. He is the epitome of delusional. "We should use courts?" So when we go arrest the bad guys, he thinks they are just gonna give up!?!?!? What a moron.
  14. I agree, if you only had 1 acre, but there was a steep bank to shoot against, and your neighbors weren't close enough to care, that's all you need. Also it depends on how the tract lays. It can be 4 acres but be 250 ft wide and 697ft long. I would look for as much as you can afford, but the main features being some hills or banks to stop bullets and woods is always a plus as strays would eventually hit a tree of missed the bank. And proximity to neighbors. If you don't have people close enough to complain you can shoot pistols on a pretty small lot.
  15. Oklahoma rolled the Big 12, Texas, Texas Tech, WVU, all who seemed at least competent offensively. I was skeptical of the Irish but I think they are a quality team, and still have room to grow. This is just the begging for them, I'm afraid. And I can't stand ND
  16. Just for reference I can get the bushing out of my TRP without a tool, but I understand what Jonnin is saying, it should be tight. You shot from a rest, with yourself and another proficient shooter, I agree with David, call S&W
  17. I love my 10mm, I just traded my G20 for a G29(baby glock) to easy concealment. I love the gun and the rounds performance. I buy ammo from Georgia Arms its $21 for 50 FMJ. Hollow points at $29 for 50. That's not far off what .45 costs
  18. I'd just start a new thread title S&W Customer service, and start with your accuracy post above, you'll probably get more advice that way
  19. I would call S&W customer service and talk to them. See what they could do, and if they are willing to pay for shipping. If they are, I'd send it to them first and see how that goes. If they say nothing is wrong then look for other options
  20. They are excessive wordy sometimes. What are you wanting to hunt and what questions might you have
  21. Damn that's way more than I imagined. Ok I guess what I should have asked was percentage wise how much more will it cost to do guns vs what you already planned?
  22. Dolomite, What are ways to tell if you are over gassing your gun? I can tell of its under gassed, i.e. doesn't cycle, bolt doesn't lock back.
  23. How much are the machines? That will go a long way as to my advice. I'd be much more apt to have a local engraving, if I had proof it was good work.
  24. Looks like Raoul beat me to the punch with the same sentiment.
  25. Pawn shops are usually not the place to find deals on used guns. Some places maybe, but generally are just like you say, way overpriced for their condition.
