Feeding deer corn is still legal, you just can't hunt within a 250yd circle zone around the feeder or shoot into that zone. It is legal to use feeders and hunt trails leading to the feeders. Now is that what was happening here, who knows, but that's why stores still sell deer feed.
I walked up at 0945 and there was no line at all. Did a quick walkthrough, ran into Dolomite and Sour Kraut, said hi to David and got to meet Eray. Picked up a couple of things from Eray. His prices were fantastic. Other than that I found absolutely nothing at the show that I needed. There was a line to get in when I left, probably 75 people deep. I'm really surprised at the lack of crowd today. I guess everyone else is more confident of a Romney win on Tuesday than I am...
Was similar at Jacobs building last time, very light crowd. I wish I could have been there to see what Eray had, but oh well.
Those are quite good prices aren't they? (don't have Glocks).
Yep, hard to find them under $29.99

So anything special at the show today?
Great, now the thread is going to devolve into beating our pets too...
Ha, I'm all for the beating of small children but I draw the line at pets :sarcasm:

I was spanked as a child as were my two sisters, I know because my mother told me so, not because I have vivid memories of being spanked. I do remember my sister getting spanked but she was 6 yrs younger, so I was a teen when she was being corrected. My point is spankings don't have I be a life trauma to work. It's meant to give a physical response to coordinate with the verbal. I don't have kids so all I can relate to is my dog. Sometime I can correct her actions verbally till I'm blue in the face but a small pop on the butt and I've got her attention. And I can attest that I would never hurt her and would fight anyone who did so, unequivocally. Unlike dogs children have the ability to reason, that's why spankings in most cases, as previously stated, can be rare. I can tell you this, I've seen kids spanked in a manner that was not abusive, but that I strongly disagreed with. A kid just being a kid, and the parent was annoyed or in a bad mood. And on the other hand I've seen too many kids that need a spanking but will never get one. To the OP if you live in the house all I can say is be vigilant and look out for the child the best you can. Sounds like the mother is beyond talking to.
Would it be bad if we developed a way to identify each other such as a name tag with TGO on it without our names? Just trying to meet some people from here and I'm sure the local shows are crawling with us but we really have no way to determine who is who in a crowded show.
Do it, if any of the guys I know see you I'm sure they'll speak up. Go to the guy in the far back right corner. Big red "Reloading Supplies" that's David, goo place to start
Neil, Do you have personal experience with these guys? I see they list 10mm as an option...
No, I spoke to him on the phone about a 300BLK barrel. He turns barrels from blanks. He seems to be pretty well spoken of on the other forums. But I have not actually bought a functioning weapon from him. I think you should buy one and post a review

Glock 21 Difficult to Field Strip (it could be me)
Lumber_Jack replied to runco's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
I'd say you're just used to a worn recoil spring. I had a G22 that was almost impossible to hold the slide back while pulling the take down levers. I had a G20 with some miles on it and a little kid could do it(theoretically) I just traded into a G29(baby glock) and its pretty stiff spring as well. Shoot a 1000 rounds and see if it changes -
Custom built AR uppers http://www.rmwxtreme.com/

Agreed. You can get them from Ron Williams at RMW Extreme http://www.rmwxtreme.com/ Not much of a website but you can call him.
-
Yes and fast shipping. Can't go wrong with Joebobs
-
Do it, get a Glock20.
-
Hell Yes
-
No grey area, it's written in a clarification letter from the ATF.
-
Not quite. Angled foregrip is OK, no vertical grip.
-
Damn Eray now I'm really hating I can't be there. That Ruger Bisley would be real tempting.

ahh good to know. The Digital version seems to calculate Standard Deviation, where the Pal version doesnt, about $20 difference in price. does it just have a button to scroll through various readings, high, low, avarage, SD, etc? also just a general question, how far from the muzzle should the Chrono be?
-
That looks good. The remote is almost as much as the Chrono, but looks like its a nice addition. Do you use the remote?
-
I was reading on the Shooting Chrony site that theirs needs a special lighting adapter that hooks to both sensors to work correctly indoors. about $50 accessory http://www.shootingchrony.com/products_ACCESSORIES.htm
-
So what's to know before buying one? I looked at the Shooting & Master Chrony's online but can't rally tell much about them. Anything I should look for? Gonna be a month or so before I pick one up so no big rush. I want a quality piece, but mobility is a big plus. I know most are made to be portable, but wasn't sure of some are easier to set up than others.

Good resource there. Thanks for posting that. I didn't realize so many loads were that slow in 10mm. Obviously the heavier bullets make a difference but there are still lots of companies loading soft.
-
yep, what OS said. I use Georgia Arms for odd ball caliber, 41 magnum and 10mm, and they're prices are reasonable, but not a steal, that everyone is looking for.
