Are there any good Army / Navy stores in Knoxville that aren't filled with junk and Made In China crap? Thanks!
Greens Military has all new stuff, nothing old/used that I know of. That's the only one I can think of. There is one on broadway too but can't think of the name
Never mind my above comment. Clearly you're trolling. Piss off.
He said he wasn't a troll. That's clearly enough to convince me. I mean I'm not an asshat regardless of others opinions

so all remaining parts have been ordered. Total with shipping costs where applicable is - $1002.50 That includes the 2 FDE mags, added Trigger guard, and Ergo Grip. No BCG, but I do have an FDE Charging handle. I could have saved some money by cutting some of these items but I like what I got. I received the flash hider free as a gift, but I included that in the price for comparison sake. plus I ended up just ordering an adjustable gas block to save time and hassle having to change later if I need one. I got the Seekins Precision with set screw to prevent having to use Loctite. I figured, Id easily blow the extra $25 bucks it cost on something else and wouldnt miss it once the order was placed. I couldn't get a clear view but from the clips it's either a Crossbread or a Galco King Tuck. Both similar holsters, but if I were a betting man I guess Crossbread. Hopefully you'll hear back and fill us in.
If you're Obama, you win no matter what happens in the polls. I would get a leather holster. Here is a great one from a great holster maker in-stock ready to ship. You used to have to wait 20 weeks for his holsters but he quit custom orders for a short time and built a bunch of items ahead that he now keeps in stock. http://store.dmbullardleather.com/all-in-stock-holster/in-stock-dual-carry-for-1911-3-barrel-rh This one can be worn IWB or OWB
I've had rocksett tubes direct from AAC show up already hardened. They don't have a good shelf life. If it was installed with a crescent wrench it looks it just slipped while torquing. It doesn't look pretty but it should work just fine.
Yeah, I could buy "set up" but he said empty, that's why I thought it was suspicious. OP you mention "it was installed". Who installed this?

So other than your 300 build, why ARs do you have? I would keep a standard 16" carbine for sure, so if you don't have one that's where I'd start. I would like a 20+" upper for shooting long range varmints and targets but wouldn't build that before my standard fighting carbine.
I am thinking the same thing in regards to the gas block. Due to cost, I figure I may as well just get a low profile and run it as is, and if I need to get an adjustable down the road when I get around to suppressing then so be it. But that would be 2 tax stamps later, so it will be a while before I cross that road.
yeah, it wont be hard to change, and you might get lucky and it run just fine.
Maybe it was a return that made it back out. Contact the seller and see what they say. Dolomite
Yeah the fact that the rock set is empty is telling enough, that this is a returned item.

Thanks for mentioning the gas block G. I was leaning that way. I can get a gas block for 20 bucks and won't have a need for subsonic ammo for a while. Once I get the upper assembled and shoot some supers, I'll come by and see if we can get some subs to run.
I had a friend two years ago get arrested on thier club lease. James didn't even know there was corn in the area. Corn plie was about 40 yards from him. Wildlife officers had been watching the area and just happened to be the one to get caught. Pg 14 Item 5 "Prohibited Acts" reads as follows: No person shall make use of bait to take wildlife unless the bait has been removed and any feeder disabled at least 10 days prior to hunting. I'd never heard of the 250 yard rule before. Dave S
Here is an article from the Chattanooga. I'll look for the actual regs later when not on my mobile phone. http://www.chattanoogan.com/2011/8/23/207538/TWRA-Clarifies-Internal-Law.aspx

If I'm wrong please correct me. I don't use feed or feeders just what I read in the regs.
-
Ten days after it's been removed.... Dave S
No, I thought you can hunt an active feeder as long as you stay outside the 250yd zone. You can hunt inside that zone 10 days after all feed is removed.
no as i dont have one
You could always buy a prepaid Visa, use cash to load the card and then make the purchase that way. You can buy them at Walmart or Walgreens etc.

-
Feeding deer corn is still legal, you just can't hunt within a 250yd circle zone around the feeder or shoot into that zone. It is legal to use feeders and hunt trails leading to the feeders. Now is that what was happening here, who knows, but that's why stores still sell deer feed.
I walked up at 0945 and there was no line at all. Did a quick walkthrough, ran into Dolomite and Sour Kraut, said hi to David and got to meet Eray. Picked up a couple of things from Eray. His prices were fantastic. Other than that I found absolutely nothing at the show that I needed. There was a line to get in when I left, probably 75 people deep. I'm really surprised at the lack of crowd today. I guess everyone else is more confident of a Romney win on Tuesday than I am...
Was similar at Jacobs building last time, very light crowd. I wish I could have been there to see what Eray had, but oh well.
Those are quite good prices aren't they? (don't have Glocks).
Yep, hard to find them under $29.99
