1.
Every one of my fired cases have a flat place on the neck. Lots of brass left on the deflector. I may lighten up the ejector spring a little.
Mine is exactly the same. Didn't notice the dents much until I saw the gold color building up on my black deflector.
 2. Glad to see you got it running. FYI, mine ejects straight into the deflector denting the case neck as well. I'm gonna turn the gas down and see if that stops, then see if it will still cycle subs. I little sent is fine, I mean that's why the deflector is there. We're you using factory ammo?
 3.
It's not all done yet. I'm still sorting thru the 2000 cases I got from David. I'm down to 600-700 left to sort. I'm into a massive 3500 round reloading project, mostly 5.56.
I should have bought a 1000 cases a month ago when he had them in Knoxville and didn't. Didn't have my gun built, now i do and no brass. Haven't made either of the last two shows to see if he has had any more. Just delaying the chop process on the 2000 5,56 cases I have.
 4.
I currently have enough Blackout brass to get thru an apocolypse or two
Wanna share?
 5. I have this one http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Spikes_Tactical_Pistol_Buffer_Tube_Cover_TanSpider_p/sp-sla502c.htm It's a faux leather. It's not very thick, but keeps the cold hard aluminum tube off your cheek. It's also has a tacky grip, so it provides a good grip on your cheek. I really like it.
 6.
Not while dressed in orange and white!
We've only got 11.5 months until we see for sure.
 7.
It’s pretty black and white to me. If a cop thinks your drinking is an issue and you are carrying a gun; it’s a problem. As Pain103 points out there is no BAC limit requirement. And even if there was a BAC limit most people have no idea what a .08 is. The OP asked a question and the answer is… No it’s not okay. Transport it the same as if you didn’t have a permit; unloaded and inaccessible.
Actually the OP asked if he locked the guns in his trunk would he be OK. I was the one who muddled the conversation.
 8.
. So all in all, I'd feel rather nervous myself if my breath even smelled of drinking near beer, and probably wouldn't even do that and carry (or drive). Who needs the possible hassle even if not convicted, eh? - OS
This was my point all along, of course it's not worth the risk, but it's not black and white.
 9.
Say what?
Did I stutter?
 10. Welcome glad you found us
 11. Remember, I never said it was a good idea. They just don't haul you off to jail for having a gun after consuming a beer. They could, but it's a matter of discretion.
 12.
That's incorrect. TCA 39-17-1321 (a) covers possession of handgun under the influence. 39-17-1321b subsection applies to drinking while in an establishment while armed. You can't be in possession of the handgun while under the influence. There is no per se influence level for this statute like DUI has a per se level of .08 BAC. I don't even risk it. If I'm going to have a drink the gun stays at home.
So what's to judge "influence"? It's implied that the person is impaired by the substance. Sure it would take a lawyer to defend that, but if you've shot someone, you'll be there anyways. That's why I stated its a choice. I don't do it, but I know others that do.
 13.
Often my wife and I will go to a nice resteraunt, and she will have a drink. I will refrain from even trying hers just to stay on the safe side of things. Are you telling me that if I leave my sidearm in the car while eating, I can have a drink (such as a single glass of wine), and then be perfectly legal if I rearm myself after exciting the restaurant?
Well that's the way I understand it.
 14. Keep guns and ammo separate and you'll be fine. Put ammo in back seat, guns in trunk and you're fine. In all reality. You can carry AFTER having a beer, just not WHILE having a beer in a restaurant. but that's a personal choice.
 15. Pull the bullet, dump the powder. The try to shoot the primer with your .22 In all seriousness just throw the case and primer away.
 16.
We'll see, I'm not convinced. He's ridden Kelly's coat-tails to this point, we'll see how he does in a MUCH tougher conference when he's not inheriting a solid foundation, but has to rebuild it. I suspect in three or so years Tennessee will be doing this again...
True true. But to his credit. Kelly's last year was a heavy loaded Junior and Senior class. And Butch managed to be successful after that. I'm rationalizing here, it's all we can do
 17.
Maybe he is. Either way, this hire is awesome for the rest of the SEC.
I doubt Sumlin is better than Saban. I was certainly being sarcastic. I'll be the first to say I'm not super excited about Butch, and am not confident in his ability to beat Bama. But I think he will have some level of success. Certainly a step up from Dooley.
 18.
I like this hire! http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=312532633
If that's the measuring stick, I guess Kevin Sumlin is superior to Nick Saban. http://espn.go.com/ncf/recap?id=323150333
 19. I didn't realize you sent it back a second time. Hopefully this gives you better results.
 20.
Press Check. Do it every time you holster.
This! I check every morning regardless of how long it's been since I actually unloaded it.
 21. No,we just need to be patient. I do t like how Hart has handled this search but I won't crucify him until I see the results. I'm hearing some good names are interested. Greg Roman(49ers), Hue Jackson (bengals) are among the ones I like.
 22.
Bottom line is nobody wants the mess we have here petrino would be good , but you can't trust him
I don't think we have a mess honestly. All you have to do is be a good recruiter and you'll win. It's not like we at NCAA sanctioned. I think we have some problems at the top. Jimmy Cheek being the main one. It was decided the UT was going to become a more academic school and now it's hard to get players here. I would hire Jim Tressell, he's sat out long enough.
 23. How silly. I refuse to be around people like him. "I'll fight you for calling me names". I've known great soldiers that weren't assholes. He could be the bigger man and ignore the insults. But like David says its all publicity cause we watched the video.
 24.
In an interview, Fat Phil said that he would take the position if they offered
Darren Rovell sports buisness reporter for ESPN, says Hart should hire Phil for a 1 yr deal and wait for more coaching free agents. I personally think UTs collective head would explode if that happened. He also says Dave Harts problem is he never fired or hired a coach in 12 yrs at Fl State. Not sure I agree with that either. We went hard at Charlie Strong, he got 4 mil to stay put. We can't pay an unproven coach Saban money.
