  1. Good thing my guns don't use hi cap clips. I prefer magazines.
  2. Yeah I understand. And now that I know, I wouldn't knowingly try to skirt the rules.
  3. I was unaware that UPS had special requirements for ammo. When I sent my secret Santa gift she asked what type of contents the package had. I just replied "toys", as there were multiple shooting accessories and a little ammo. They shipped it fine. They'll ship it.
  4. I'll try to remember to grab som pics and post em.
  5. I'll be there on Saturday morning to see David. I'd say everyone else's prices will be comical. I will browse for the entertainment. It's going to be a mad house.
  6. Yep that's the one I bought. Metal frame/slide. Hammer functions and fires the gun. Thumb safety operates like a real 1911.
  7. You're just one step away from shooting a Navy Seal movie. Glad you had fun and got some good instruction. That's what shooting is all about.
  8. I bought my brother in law one for high school graduation. It was a KWA 1911 green gas operated. It's a blast to shoot, and accurate. It was about $180-200. Not cheap but it will last for a long time. I think I like it more than he does.
  9. I think PersonDJ and STAHDKnoxville should send your gifts to each other
  10. I prefer "modern sporting rifle" ... But I do love "assault clips"
  11. Glad to have ya. Welcome
  12. I bought 6 Kies metal 30 rounders online Wednesday. Then I went into Nashville Armory and they had a box full of Pmags. I only bought 4, but could have bought 50. I decided to leave some for others.
  13. Fly fishing. Caney Fork couple weeks ago Not a great pic but a nice Brook Trout.
  14. It's mostly just a preference thing. Two separate thoughts. Novak style rear for snag free operation Or ledge for one hand slide operation. I prefer a ledge, but have a Novak on my 1911. So I guess that make me a hypocrite. Plus the ledge sights are a better money value IMO.
  15. Thanks for the replies. I meant aggravated not aggregated. That's a separate issue.
  16. What's the general opinion on digital scales. Best quality vs price. I get aggravated with the balance scale cause its slow to settle. I'm already slow with a single stage press, so just looking to pick up some efficiency. I'm not loading match grade ammo, just want to be as precise as possible without going broke.
  17. I thought M&P 22 would only work with the M&P mags. I guess that's not much help, but I like interjecting pointless rambling.
  18. Brian, my offer still stands. How can we expect the media to print educated articles if we aren't willing to educate them. Sure editors edit, but if we don't try we have already failed. If we spend our time bickering on this forum and don't send the message to the public we've not affected anything.
  19. That's the general consensus. Thanks for posting that info.
  20. I still plan to get a suppressor soon. I'm not concerned about the gubment comin.
  21. It does make me think. "what happened to the man in the woods they led away in handcuffs in CT?"
  22. Still are, but most fear the lower is what will be banned or regulated since its the firearm. Uppers will be available after the panic slows.
  23. Frontier doesn't carry many ARs to start with. They had a couple on Monday, but doubt they have any left.
  24. Hell yeah. That's a perk of driving so much for work.
