  1. I would actually prefer a conversion kit, but can't find one of those either. Thy seem to be bringing a premium as well. So I thought if I gotta pay $400 I should see if I can find a M&P
  2. Anyone still see these for sale? When the panic started these were still pretty easy to find. But I haven't seen one locally in a while.
  3. I've heard they are good. I use a straight razor for the 10% of my face that actually gets shaved in the winter. This summer I might order a few to use when I don't have time to do a wet shave.
  4. I appreciate that man, we'll see what happens when I decide to buy one. I figured I could rouse some of y'all up if I needed too, but I know it's never fun to move safes.
  5. those work just fine, but again you have to sort out too long vs others. These are a good gage to check every so often to make sure your still trimming to the right length. If your just doing a small batch of brass it's a moot point but if you have very many cases at all it's just quicker to trim them all.
  6. I use H&R Block Online. It's free if you make less than $55,000 (or so I'm not sure exactly) otherwise there is a small fee (~$20). I like them cause they store your info from year to year and makes filing quick an easy, especially if you do t itemize deductions.
  7. Get a little crow WFT trimmer. You chuck it in a drill and its much cheaper. Yes the Giraud is an awesome tool, but it's too much for my cheap a$$
  8. Great, glad your getting rid of the ink you don't want. Too many people just live with it. Keep us posted on the progress, I'd love to see how it fades over time
  9. Jonnin pretty much laid it out in his post. Of course that does not account for the equipment. But I generally don't factor that in. Just like I wouldn't consider the price of a gun when I look at how much that caliber will cost to shoot. I have RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme. Everything I have is RCBS except my lee hand primer and Franklin Arsenal calipers. You can't go wrong with Lee, Hornady, Rcbs single stage presses. You can buy a kit, but I chose to just buy it one piece at a time. I got a few items as Christmas gifts. It takes longer to get setup that way, but it wasn't bad.
  10. If 4895 is what your looking for I'll keep my eyes open for a pound
  11. I think it looks like a great new show. Always a potential for a bust, but FX has had some pretty good successful series. Nip Tuck, Rescue Me, Justified....
  12. looks good, anyone plan to watch? Premieres tomorrow (Wed 30) at 10
  13. Have you decided what powder you want?
  14. No as long as they're all under the maximum length it's fine. But the catch is you have to measur them to know that. Most, like Caster, just set the trimmer and if the trimmer doesn't cut anything you just throw it in the bucket.
  15. I don't think anyone is going to flame you either way.  The argument can be made that knives are part of peoples every day carry, so they can be considered gear.  I would put it in the non-firearms forum.  Don't worry it will get seen.  Just bump the thread up once a week.  If its a good knife for the right price, it will sell
  16. I wouldn't spend money having it checked by a gunsmith.  most anyone here familiar with ARs could look at it and tell you if its good to go.     if everything fits tight, i.e. barrel, barrel nut, grip, stock, then Id say its fine.  These things are like big erector sets, if everything is tight it should shoot
  17. My question is how w're gay boys and leaders being excluded before? Was there a strict "no gay" policy? I understand there are gays in society, it's reality. And personally I associate with some and have at least one family member who is gay. They are just people like everyone else. With that said I completely disagree with their lifestyle and believe its wrong. But I also believe heterosexual couples living together outside of marriage is wrong, no more or less than me telling a lie or using foul language, both of which probably happens more than if like to admit. As a Christian sin and morality are explained in close detail, and they are not weighed on a scale, it's simply black or white. I believe your children should see their patents as role models, but some children don't have good parents so sometimes scout leaders and others serve as their interim role models. Does that mean a Gay man can't be a good role model? No, but it doesn't mean he is a good one either. I think the troop needs to reserve the right to vet leaders as they see fit without scrutiny from the media machine. It's the only way to somewhat ensure the integrity of the program. Will some people be unjustly excluded? Probably, but that's life, deal with it. I think sexual preference shouldn't be discussed in any form in scouting. That means boys to leaders, leaders to leaders or vice versa. I dont think your going to see an influx of gay leaders or an increase of pedophelia, they are separate issues.
  18. Yeah, I'd say several just simply chose not to participate in the letter for whatever reason. I'd say the number is better than 77 on our side. I'm not sure how much better but surely it's more than that.
  19. Great looking stick. .308 I presume?
  20. Glad to see Dr Roe on the list.
  21.     most people that complain about ATVs are implying that deer don't live in these high traffic ATV areas.  That is simply not true.  Of course an ATV screaming by will spook any deer anytime, but they don't leave the county.
  22. can you explain "30 boo boo"?  the gun is awesome, never seen anything like that
  23.     I think that's the key,  $25 for a gun isn't going to get any guns.  At least Seattle was offering $100 & $200.
  24. I've thought about this before. Building a wall isn't feasible but I might be able to do something. We do also have an alarm system that is on at ALL TIMES. So I plan to bolt it to the floor and trust the alarm. If it still gets stolen then I'd say there wasn't much else that would save them.
