  1. How about here $227 http://swfa.com/Bushnell-1-4x24-AR-Optics-30mm-Rifle-Scope-P61352.aspx
  2. Me too, we'll see how long it takes to show up readily
  3.   Just moved recently, to the old Old College Inn place.  We used to be regulars in college, so I still have some friends that frequent, that's how I know.  didn't even know they were posted, probably hadn't been since getting my permit.
  4.   all sellers still showing out of stock, or back-order.  Makes me believe they haven't actually shipped to retailers.  Once they do, I bet you will find lower prices at the better online retailers.
  5. that get my blood pressure high....and I don't even have kids.  I fear for them when we do have children though.  The US will be an even more different place by then.
  6. Its gonna be cool Friday   not sure I would want to walk from downtown unless I had good comfortable tennis shoes.  If your women like to dress up, that could be a significant hike especially in uncomfortable shoes.     Restaurants I like that are the closest.     Downtown/Market Square Downtown Bar and Grill, get there early it will be packed Cafe 4 (1.3 mi walk)  Crown and Goose, one of my favorites (1.6 mi walk)   Cumberland Ave   Sunspot ( its new location, right next to Pilot on Corner of Cumberland and Volunteer) 1.2 mi walk to Arena if it were me Id look at getting another cab ride
  7. wanna sell that conversion? :D
  8. page wont load, not a good sign :D
  9. a lawn and landscape friend recomends Larry Miller (865)740-1871.  Just another name to get a quote from
  10. I deal with selling timber on a daily basis.  Genearlly you have gotten good advise.  No sawmil is interested in one single tree, not necessarily becasue of nails, but its not profitable for anyone involved.  The fuel to come pick it up is more than the tree is worth. The tree appears to be a Chestnut Oak, which is a lower grade species of White Oak.  If you could cut it in 16' lengths and load it on a truck and drive it to the mill, they might buy it, but thats a serious amount of effort.    Your best bet is to sell it to a firewood supplier in your area.  But make sure they have liablitly insurance before entering into any agreement.    Your other option, if you know how to run a saw, is to go rent a 60cc 24" saw and make your own firewood.  Sell it for $50 or $100 for rick or cord, respectively.        In the end there really isnt any money to be made when you take physical time and labor devided by revunue.  I would do as enfield and peejman suggested and just get the insurance to get rid of the tree.  Check your deductable though, you might be able to pay a tree service for a similar amount and not have a claim on your insurance.
  11. So this brings up an interesting question. I have had road rage incidents where other drivers have become upset at my actions and written down my plate number. Both were my fault, one I accidentally pulled out in front of a guy who then proceeded to tailgate me so I escalated the issue by driving incredibly slow. I could visibly see him write my plate number an dial his phone. The second was an accident, on the interstate, I merged on a guy in my blind spot. Again he tailgated me or a few miles, and again I may have antagonized him by driving slowly. Either way, whether I was wrong in my actions or not, how do police address such "reports"? I have to believe they get them often. Do people think the police will just show up and write me a ticket?
  12. And I did. Thanks, never noticed that option
  13. Used to be $20 for a 1lb jug from David. Can't say if the price has gone up or not. Don't know I he has any bulk size or not. It's worth stopping by his booth
  14. Yeah it's fine. The recoil spring probably slipped off while you were putting the slid back, causing the jam to start with. If it strikes, and the slide racks, you're fine.
  15. And this is for a reason. We've all needed a restroom in an emergency. If you maintain a "public use" restroom you shouldn't e able to hold someone hostage for using it. I mean how much does it cost the owner...negligible. If you had a buisness on a street with heavy foot traffic and it was disturbing buisness I can see the issue. But it's more appalling that the Sherrif sees not problem just handing out personal info to someone he "knows". You never really "know" anyone's intentions.
  16. You should have sent me a PM, I would see the email update. You could have come to the front. I hold spots for all TGO members when I wait in line.
  17. Man I've been holding back flames on this for weeks. We see your thread, it's overpriced, stop bumping it!!!! I saw a DPMS 5.56 with FDE magpul furniture today at the gun show for a bargain $2500. I thought, "that was soo 3 weeks ago"
  18. 2x3 for me. I voted for one, but if I could vote again, I'd probably say 2.
  19. Gun check line just quadrupled. Probably 50 deep now.
  20. It's about 3/4 of the length of the building at 8:10. I'd say by 8:30 it'll be past the end of the building on the right side. Gun check line is short, probably 15 people
  21. I'm in line. Early Bird, and all that.
  22. Yeah I was surprised at the reasonable price. I would have expect Gouger to charge $20 or more
  23. I heard they had 325 packs of .22 for 15.99. That's less per round price than what I paid for the last brick from David. But yes otherwise I wouldn't buy any ammo from them.
  24. Looks like OD to me. Foliage appears almost Grey, especially in photos
  25. Shoot 10mm, .40 is for pussies. :taunt:
