  1. If it weren't for this thread I would think ammo was extinct. I like to see that it is or isn't showing up
  2. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/03/11/ny-judge-halts-bloomberg-ban-on-large-sugary-drinks/
  3. Trying spontaneous combustion out I taught her to be a ninja are you eating?
  4. I believe if they had both guns in stock , they can put them both on one form, but once that transaction is complete, its over.
  5. Nixon proved not to use the best judgment at times....I'll lump this in with those.
  6. The mobile site works well. I have adapted. I used Tapatalk and loved it but you can still access the site from your phone.
  7. Just like lowers I'm sure they're forged at the same place as other name brands.
  8. I have female friends but under no circumstances would I be alone with them in a home. Just wouldn't do it. The risk to my marriage is way to high, no matter how much I trust them or me.
  9. I saw a no-name at the last Knoxville gun show. It was $125. So maybe we'll seem them before too long.
  10. So when is someone gonna post a pic of this on their truck?
  11. Are you in Knoxville?
  12. I called today about having my Ruger 5.56 threaded. He said about $85 but would be 4-5 weeks to get it done due to volume of work. Might cost a little extra for you if they have to cut the barrel and then thread. They are about the only place in town I would consider letting do this
  13. Well this is exactly gossip central. That's why we post articles and then speculates as to their events. I just told my wife as she read the story to me. I said "he is married and she is married, what was he doing at her house at 10pm?" As a married man I try to keep a hedge around myself to prevent any misconduct whether real or perceived by others. That would include being at a married woman's house alone.
  14. Chuck Swan is an heavily wooded forest with some fields they keep maintained. I've only hunted doce there, so I'm not a lot of help. I'm not sure that I would drive all that way just to kill one more turkey. Unless I had no other options.
  15.  Id have bought 2
  16.   That's the problem, there aren't any in stock.  And no one will give you a discount for buying all of their stock if they did have 10.     Discounts for buying multiples is an incentive to sell more product.  Most dealers don't have any product to sell, and if they do, they sure don't have any need to spur interest by giving discounts.  I would look for good prices one at a time.  The upper receivers are just as scarce, as are LPKs.  So you have a really steep hill to climb here.
  17. yeah not a prayer.  Tell them to check back one year from today and we'll see if things are back to normal.  Finding 10 lowers at a reasonable price, $125-$150 seems like it would be a miracle right now.
  18.   Dear God, yes please.  Its amazing how many economics lessons have been given on here in the last 10 weeks
  19. welcome neighbor, plenty of info to reference here.
  20. lots of places sell them by the 100.  once the box of 1000 is opened there are 10 individual boxes of 100, right?  I understand your frustrations but there are two ways to deal with panic buying and limited supply.  one is to raise the price and the other is to limit demand on the supply.  I would much rather have limits over higher prices.
  21.   This is true.  I have a first focal plane mil dot 1-4.5x and all you can see is a smooth line on 1, 2 power, not real clear even at full power.  I will wait until I can see one in hand before I buy
  22. So I called remington thinking I'd have to wait forever on hold, but after about 5 mins got an answer. So the barrel stamp is 1967 and the reciever serial number is 1972. So I guess the barrel was either switched or they had a lot of barrels lying around for 5 years. Either way It was quick and painless just to call
  23. Not too far off. My order was Dec 31, so maybe I'll get mine by end of April.....or May 😜
