1. Just for the record, I feel like dog :poop: today.
2. She had her seatbelt on and her air bag deployed. She was moving a little right after impact but I could tell she wasn't well. I remember telling 911 to hurry cause she was not doing well.
3. I bought No 9. David said that's THE powder for 10mm
4. My wife will not be coming, but yours is certainly welcome. I'm sure a few will come with there husbands.
5. Our accident happened at 9:30. Fog had lifted by then but still heavy backup. http://www.wlos.com/article?id=9303201&categoryid=277&election=&provider= We are the black Land Rover in the short clips. Ms May was driving the white Ford Thunderbird. I'm still in shock that we are home safe and she isn't here anymore. Life is fragile, cherish it!
6. Yeah, it didn't break any glass. I was really shocked that it did not break the rear glass. The whole SUV is wrinkled though. The doors are hard to open on the driver side.
7. There were about 8 feet of skid marks so actual speed at impact is hard to tell. But she pushed us at least 15 feet down the road.
8. Speed was just what was told to me by the guy traveling in the lane beside her. He said they were going 65-70, may have been 50, I don't know. All I know is it was like being plowed by a bus. I've never experienced and impact like that before.
9. It's amazing how well our car held up considering how hard she hit us. The responding officer said after examining the scene and the cars in the impound lot, the car that hit us went up under our car before coming to a stop. We are very fortunate.
10. Yeah we were on the interstate. We were stopped in construction traffic at the I-40 & I-26 intersection in Asheville. My in-laws traded their Land Rover to us so we could have a safe care to drive. Thank God it's built like a freakin tank.
11. The officers say their were signs she was using her phone, but nothing definitive. DON'T TEXT AND DRIVE
12. I know this has been argued over before, but today seat belts saved me and my wife from serious injury. We were stopped in construction and a lady rear ended us without stopping. She was traveling about 70mph and plowed into us. I saw her coming and was able to release the brake and turn the wheel in an attempt to move out of the way but I wasn't able to react in time. My wife broke her nose and got a few stitches but otherwise we are fine. Thank God for that. The lady that hit us died on the way to the hospital. Please pray for her family. If anyone ever wonders the Land Rover LR4 is one tough bitch. EDIT more pics Broken Seat Offending vehicle
13. That's the standard mount. It's absolute co-witness. Yeah I have a YHM free float so I could move it out there if I needed to, but would rather not.
14. You should bring a case back for me :)
15. We have Fleenor at my house as well an my in-laws. We are very pleased with their service. We have the alarm, fire, and carbon mono all wired in. My wife has a remote that allows her to turn the system on and off from anywhere in the house or car as well as a panic button. I'd recommend them.
16. From this thread: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/index.php?/topic/54413-Chronographs? Probably this one: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/852429/competition-electronics-prochrono-digital-chronograph Second on the list: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/306796/shooting-chrony-alpha-master-chronograph?cm_vc=subv1852429 This one is compact and has a readout the sits on the bench. But the first one has better reviews overall.
17. They are just slightly flattened, just smooth with the primer cup. A Chrony is coming soon.
18. I have the Strikefire and MBUIS. I would have to get a forward can't mount for the red dot to fit a magnifier behind it an not move the red dot to the forearm.
19. As long as you don't have an EXTRA stock to readily affix, then the 6 position buffer is perfectly fine.
20. Yes. The case is not fully supported by the barrel. The smile area is in open air when charge goes off. So too much pressure causes that part of the case to bulge.
21. Thanks for posting. I'm gonna load some 10mm this summer and have never seen pics of this. Of course I'm going to try to reach "ludicrous speed", but still want to stay safe.
22. How much now?
23. Yeah the big seller here is the under $300 price range. Mine is a 300BLK so for $1400 I'd probably just buy the Luepold with the .300 reticle
24. Glad someone had some luck. I got skunked this morning. Hopefully get some action next week
