  1. Problem is its a 2011 Land Rover. So if the factory didn't configure the computer It can't be added and work with the touch screen like it should
  2. Definitely a possibility. Bears have the ability to travel great distances. And are known to live not far from you.
  3. Cherry trees are very prone to sprouting from the base hence the "bush" appearance. From the picture it looks like cherry leaves to me. Do two things. Take a close up pic of the stem(bark) and a close up pic a leaf. On the stem get as close as you can and still be clear.
  4.   Actually that would be awesome, and much welcomed alternative!
  5. So we just bought a used vehicle on Friday.  We bought it with the understanding that it had Sirius Satellite radio. all documents state that it has the radio, especially the singed contract.     On Saturday we attempted to activate the satellite radio, only to discover that the option doesn't exist on the car.     The dealership offered to check and see if the module was just not activated, but if it truly wasn't installed form the factory, they could add an aftermarket version for free.  Well I would not be happy with an aftermarket version and would never have bought the car knowing that it did not have factory satellite radio (yes, its that big of a deal)    So do I have grounds to warrant a refund if its proven the car doesn't have a factory system that they stated was installed?   This is gonna go down today, just thought id share and get opinions
  6.         Yes I do.  I carry my pocket .380, just as a last ditch life saver.  most threats I can evade with some speedy pedal work, but some degenerates are intent on causing cyclists harm even if we are following the rules of the road and yielding to traffic.  and yes I do ride on the road, but to the far right and if I'm holding up traffic I will stop and allow the traffic to pass.
  7.   under the banner it says "inside ever liberal is a totalitarian waiting to get out"   Seems like satire to me
  8. No insurance required to ride a bike. If a bicyclist causes a vehicle wreck youd have to sue for damages and prove the cyclist was negligent. Same goes for cyclists hit by a car. You'd have to prove the driver negligent in order to receive damages.
  9. Yes I'm aware of the .22 binary targets. I just wanted to specify that a shotgun or pistol or .22 won't detonate the original stuff. Don't want anyone wasting time and bullets
  10. I use a Trailscout brand. It's a small unit that has a standard SD card. You just use a big enough card and check it once a month or every week, whichever you choose. I would get one with IR flash for better night pictures. Be careful when setting up the camera, of there is a branch nearby that gets blown in the wind, you can get TONS of "nothing" pics as the branch triggers the camera If I were buying one again, I'd start with Cuddyback, it's on the higher end price wise, but function and picture quality equal the price.
  11. Won't explode. Not enough energy, similar to pistol and .22 ammo. Has to be high velocity.
  12. They will hear it for sure. It will be pretty significant boom, but at that distance I wouldn't think they'd freak out. PS I'd put it at least 75-100 yds away just for safety
  13. Yes sir, big field and let it rip....enjoy!!!
  14. Man that's a great memory for you. I've always loved country music and George is one of the greats. PS I love your hair in that video
  15. I love Ray. Glad to see he's still got it. I'm only 32 but there isn't a song of his I haven't heard. He was even my first live concert, I was 8 or 9.
  16. http://www.businessinsider.com/women-shot-dorner-manhunt-settlement-2013-4 Apparently getting $4.2 million
  17. Montani Semper Liberi Welcome to a new great state. I grew up in Parkersburg until going to University of Tennessee for college. Been here ever since. I love my home state, but I wouldn't leave Tennessee to go back.
  18. So it's Self Defense Solutions? Why not just say it. If they are acting in such a way they deserve the slander.
  19. I have a MUT, I like it very much. It is carried in my field bag that I cruise timber with. It comes in handy for equipment maintenance as well as an emergency tool just in case.
  20. I have the strikefire, it's a quality red dot at a value price. I think I paid $159 or so for mine. Comes with a screw-in 2x magnifier which isn't all that special but is handy from time to time.
  21.   I'm sure they do, but think about practicality of going from being shot at in a land vehicle, to returning fire, then getting in said patrol boat, starting it and then pursing them.  Logistically it would have been futile, they never would have caught them.      or if the boat is on patrol, getting them from their current location to the shooting location.  Then what do you do, pursue  every boat on the water?  Contrary to popular belief there are a lot of boats on the water at night, especially during warm weather
  22. The dude was practically lobbing bullets from the boat ramp. Then took off in his boat. What did you want them to do, swim after them?
  23. I think if someone was really planing an attack on the nuke plant, the last thing they would want to do is engage a security officer with live fire.
  24. I'd bet this is more "dumbass redneck" than "nuclear security threat" But either way I don't think TVA is taking it lightly. I saw the initial story early Sunday morning. Problem may be that they have no clue who did this
  25. I carry reloads in a factory box :hiding:
