  1. This. Do it after dark. You'll see one lone bee guarding the hole, so just pour quickly.
  2. At least you saved Dolomite from that fate. I'm gonna slip him a bacon sammich next time I see him :) Hell, if I'd known he was eatin tofu I'd a pocketed him a biscuit from Tupelo
  3. Welcome. I like to wade the Caney fork when I can. Nice area over there
  4. Your wife is very pretty :) now go shave. .you look like a ... lumberjack Haha, yes she is...and don't worry I think her patience is running out with the beard. It won't last much longer :)
  5. After church brunch at Tupelo Honey Cafe. 2 eggs over medium, bacon, home fries and of course a giant biscuit!!
  6. maybe i'll give them to someone who does. That's probably the safest solution.
  7. Wash bay at Cadillac dealer(2 summers). Lots of hung over Saturdays sleeping in $55k Cadillacs WV Dept of Highways, herbicide application. Basically sat shotgun in spray truck and tried not to spray little old ladies roadside flower planters. US Forest Service. Timber management / Wildland Firefighter Consulting Forester(current, 10yrs) My favorite job was with the US forest service. Guv'mnt job, 8-4, most of that time was spent "not doing shit". Firefighting was a blast. I was on a chainsaw crew for 4 weeks (2 separate deployments) and just cut down random trees all day and got paid good money.
  8. You could always pull them and reload I suppose. I was assuming since he bought yard sale reloads that he probably doesn't reload. Most reloaders I know wouldn't buy them to start with. (No offense, they just wouldn't)
  9. Me? I would never buy or shoot any reloads that I didn't trust the reloader with my life. That definitely includes some dude running a yard sale. You could risk it and be fine....or you could blow up your gun. No way to know for sure either way. I'd throw em out and chalk up a $20 loss
  10. In summary it's the worlds largest garage sale all along HWY 127 that runs from Michigan to Alabama. People set up on the roadside. Lots if vendors in the Fentress/Cumberland county section, but I haven't been on any other sections
  11.     I see a pretty clear distinction myself
  12.     I am not a lawyer :D, but couldnt he be charged with "distrubing the peace" or "insighting a panic" or something similar.  It doesnt have to be a violation of carrying a weapon.  If I go into a theater and yell fire, I can be arrested and charged.  If I have a verbal argunment inside my residence that is so loud it disturbes my neighbors, I can be arrested and charged.
  13.   dont yall have a knoxville location opening in about a month?  Id wait, or drive to Nashville, their selection is unbeatable, from the shopping Ive done
  14.   I concure here.   I have 4 pairs of the Tru Spec 24/7.  3 dark Khaki and one OD Green.  They are great.  They also come with a water/stain resistant coating, it does wash out over time, but still nice for new pants.  I wear them because as a Forester they are great for transistion from office to fieldwork.  you can dress them up to a semi-casual office wear but perform great outdoors in heat and brush.
  15.     Thats correct.  all other parts are the the same. Depending on the gas port location (pistol length gas is recomended) a new gas tube and possibly an adjustable gas block although some have had good success with just a standard block.   I have a 10.5" barrel with pistol length gas, and a Siekens precision adjustable gas block.  once adjusted I can run super heavy sub sonic or Hornady 110gn VMAX without adjusting the block.   for a time I had a 5.56 and a .300 BLK and only had one BCG that I switched between the two.
  16. Awesome, I'll try to make it by
  17. Well...I don't know :D
  18. are you just trying to deterime the terminal ballistics of your setup or maximize the maximum terminal ballistics of an SBR?  Are you dead set on keeping it a 5.56?
  19. NM   I see, you want it to not show up on the "my content" page?
  20.   This     Go to the thread in question, and at the top right just click the "unfollow" button.
  21. ahh, just for the record this show isnt sponsered By RK. Thats why it wasnt on the website. I'd go, but gonna be in Knoxville all weekend
  22. yeah RK website only shows Kingport shows at the Convention Center Aug 3-4, Nov 9-10.  I've never been to a show in Kingsport that wasnt at the Meadoview
  23. I think you should look into Kingston, TN.  Its about 15 mins from Oak Ridge Shooting Association and you can be at the airport in about 45mins.  Plus you can go to West Knoxville for any "big city" shopping needs you may have.  Very quiant little town on Watts Bar Lake.    No offense to anyone, but Im not a big fan of Oak Ridge.  Not real convenient to get in and out of there, especially if its quiting time at all the plants.      Crossville is nice its about 1hr 20 mins to Knoxville airport.  Great golfing area, not a big shooting range club that I know of in that area.    Athens is a nice area as well, smaller than crossville, about the same distance to airport as Crossville,
  24. uhhh, I'll pass.  I'm all for him getting his gun back, but Im sure his lawsiuts will afford him enough money to buy whatever he wants.
  25. Buisness shouldnt halt because one member of the store had an accident.  I dont blame you for canceling.  I had my doubts as to who, if anyone, actually had the gun you ordered in-stock.
