  1. I wish I only had one on my list. I want (in no particular order): 1) Ed Brown Special Forces 2) Colt Delta Elite 10mm 3) FN 5.7 4) S&W Model 625 5) Ed Brown Kobra Karry 6) S&W Model 610 7) Beretta 92FS I'll probably get none of these in the short term unless a deal comes along that I just can't pass up. I had a line on a great deal on a Delta Elite and let it sit for one day too long. Missed out.
  2. Hmm, anyone who disagrees is a redneck racist. Where have I heard that before?
  3. Thanks for the heads up. I'll check them out. Edited to say Wow, these guys appear to have really crappy service. Please disregard my previous link.
  4. Botach tactical has them for $369 after using a 10% off coupon. EOTech 512 Holosight
  5. Both Graf's and Brownell's offer discounts on just about everything they sell. Graf's dealer discounts seem to be a little bit better, at least on the things I've checked.
  6. In our prayers. Very sorry for your loss...
  7. So I made a copy of my C&R today, signed it and scanned it in to my computer as a PDF. A couple of hours later I've already got my dealer accounts set up with Graf's, Brownell's and Aim Surplus. Why in the world didn't I do this sooner???
  8. It was weird to see this thread. I honestly just thought the other day how much I'd like to punch Gibbs in his pudgy, smarmy face. Him and Keith Olbermann. And Hillary Clinton. And...
  9. Ooh, forgot about Brownell's. Thanks. As far as what I'm going to order first, I know I have to get the obligatory Mosin, but I've been eyeballing a CZ-82 for a while now. That may be first.
  10. Glad you liked it Smith. I hate to hear that about your Millet though. For my STG I bought the Leupold Mark AR. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but it's very similar to the DMS.
  11. Mailed my application off on January 22nd, got my paper in the mail today. Okay, so who do I register with first? Definitely Graf and Sons, since they give a great dealer discount. How is the discount with Midway USA? Also, I'm guessing Aim Surplus and Classic Arms. Who am I missing here?
  12. Thanks guys. Smith, I'd be interested in hearing back after you have yours re-threaded. How much are you going to cut it back?

I finally got the scope mounted on my STG so we decided to dress up and do some Glamour Shots today. The STG is the 20" barrel and the glass is a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4x20. Thanks for looking...
  14. It is a garage. It's a garage filled with my wood shop, a riding mower and some other stuff that doesn't allow a full sized truck to fit.
  15. I'd love to have an Acog or an Eotech with a magnifier, but I went with a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4x20 with Leupold medium height rings.
  16. I need to get a scope mounted on my STG. I've got the scope and the rings. Anyone have a recommendation of someone that will do the work the right way and not charge me an arm and a leg for it? I've had my last couple mounted at Bass Pro, but I just don't feel like driving all the way out there this weekend.
  17. I spent a couple of hours cleaning up my truck today. We now have a 100% chance of rain at some point in the next two days.
  18. Ensley's in Louisville is $20 or Austin's in Oak Ridge is $25. I've used both and have had good service from both.
  19. Yep, that's what will bring me back in. Sarcasm and condescension. I don't need a hug or a hand-holding party. I do however expect to take priority over an employees only BS-session when I have a question or want to see something behind the counter.
  20. Looks great. I love my Supertuck. I've got one for my 1911 and am currently waiting for one for a Glock 36. Enjoy.
  21. Basevol, simply put- I've never felt like Coal Creek wanted my business. Their employees are generally condescending and disinterested in anything except talking amongst themselves and to their select group of mall-ninja comrades. I truly wish it wasn't the case- I live about 10 minutes from Coal Creek and would love to have a good working relationship with them. Jeremy, Ray Ensley does have a storefront but he's hard to find if you don't know where to look. He primarily works the gun show circuit and through the internet, but he's been willing to order anything I've ever asked of him. You won't find much (if anything) in stock at his place. He also does $20 transfers, so he's a good place to use if you buy from Bud's or Whittaker's in KY.
  22. I got a Pelican 1750 about six months ago with the intention of using it for my FNAR. It sat in the closet until today. I used an electric carving knife and a Boker folder with a ceramic blade. I think the Boker actually cut better than the carving knife. I've got a couple of the Berry plastic ammo cases ordered that I'm going to cut inserts for in the bottom right of the case. Thanks for looking...
  23. God bless you sir!!
  24. I've gotten good service from Frontier Firearms in Kingston (20 min drive), Ensley's Shooting Supply in Louisville, Craig's Firearms (you have to military or LEO) and Austin's Tn Firearms in Oak Ridge. I've been in Bill's Outpost a couple of times and would not hesitate to do business with him, although I haven't had the chance to yet. I will not step into Coal Creek Armory again and was not particularly impressed with Gunny's when I went in there either.
  25. After reading through all 10 pages of this thread, I'm more thankful for ORSA than ever. Probably the best $120 I spend all year.
