Wow, this is the first place I've seen that has the Colt 901 in stock. $2.4k is still a little steep but very reasonable compared to what they're going for on GB.

Yep, I love the idea of a gun emporium but I'm still not buying unless their pricing structure gets a little more in line with the marketplace. One example I saw yesterday: 375 rounds of CCI mini mags for $28.99. The same box was on sale at Palmetto State Armory (who also has a brick and mortar store) for $20.99. With Gander Mountain's size and buying power they should be competing with Wal Mart on ammo prices and Bud's on gun prices. EDIT: Palmetto State is good only if you are not in a hurry for your items and you don't need to speak to customer service or sales on the phone. Their customer service is horrible. Their prices are good.

I've got a M&P X that I've had for a couple of years. I added some Magpul goodies and put a homemade camo job on it. It's been very reliable and has eaten everything I've fed it. I'd buy it again.

I found a DPMS LR-308 Sportical at Wal-Mart for $897 today. Seems like a pretty fair price but I would end up replacing half of the stuff on it.

Kind of what I was thinking too, but they now have shelving and counters all the way down the back wall. If they fill all of the shelving they will have several hundred guns in there.

I stopped in yesterday while I was out running errands. It looks like they're totally redoing their gun area. If the shelving is an indicator they're going to have rooms for hundreds of guns. Anyone have any insight into what's actually happening? Hope they change their pricing structure as well. It would be nice to have reasonably priced guns for sale around West Knoxville.

It's absolutely asinine. I have a TS/SCI clearance at work and I still have to wait six months for some jackass to verify that the other government agency that checked me was correct when they checked me. Bureaucracy at it's finest.

Bill's Outpost is my favorite gun shop in the area. It's in Alcoa. Great service, friendly people, good selection. I'll personally drive past all of the Knoxville gun shops to get there. If you want to have something built, Predator Customs is fantastic. If you happen to be military or LEO Craig's Firearms in Seymour has the best prices around on Glocks.

Yep, Tig has some crazy in him. I like Opie too, probably more than Jax. Breaking Bad is awesomeness. I watched the first three seasons of it while I was in the desert earlier this year. Just waiting for my wife to catch up so we can proceed from there.

Can't wait. I'll have to DVR it tonight because of an early flight tomorrow morning but I'll watch it tomorrow. Like Murgatroy, SOA, Justified, and Walking Dead are three that I never miss. If Jax and Raylen would join Darryl in fighting zombies I think my world would be complete.
