  1. I'd have liked to have seen that shot through a super slo-mo cam. I'm simple that way.
  2. I'm ready for some gun show action. I greatly prefer the Expo center to Chilhowee but I'll take what I can get at this point.
  3. I may have mentioned it in the other thread , but I think their customer service is absolute garbage. Prices are good but service rules (in my opinion at least).
  4. I don't have a lot of experience with the Tops but I've owned a half dozen ESEEs. They make a very good knife that will last you a lifetime if you take reasonable care of it.
  5. I fully believe that: a. the lady I talked to had no idea what kind of rifle I had ordered b. my rifle is only shipping tomorrow because I called and asked about why it was taking so long This is assuming it actually ships tomorrow. I won't believe anything until I have a tracking number.
  6. This show is killing me right now. Opie was my favorite too. Loyal friend, loyal to the club. Can't wait to see the crooked deputy get whacked.

  8. Update: I called customer service over and over again today until I finally got someone on the phone. ME: I'd like to check on the status of my order. I paid for it 11 days ago and haven't heard anything since. My name is _____, my order number is _____. HER: Can I put you on hold for a minute while I check on that? About two minutes later: HER: I checked with the guys in the back and they're still building your rifle. They have all of the parts but it will be next week before it ships. ME: I ordered a Sig Sauer rifle. Don't they come already assembled? HER: No, they come with most of the parts but we have to add some of our own. ME: Uh, okay....... About three hours later I get an email from someone at the shop saying my rifle would ship tomorrow morning. WTF???
  9. Until PSA fixes their crappy customer service I won't darken the door of their website.
  10. I put a comment up on their Facebook page and it got deleted and I got blocked from posting there. It was not a ranting comment nor did I blast the company. I simply expressed my concern at the lack of customer service I had received. Guess they'd rather stick their heads in the sand than fix the problem.

  12. Update. Still piss poor. Finally got through to a live person on Friday. Took my number, said she'd call me right back. Nothing. Story of my life. To hell with them. I hope their crappy customer service on this order was worth losing a four-year customer.

  17. You will not be disappointed with a 686-3. If you are, put it in the classifieds here and it will be gone pretty quickly.
  18. Always been happy with Aim and Primary Arms but they didn't have what I was looking for in stock. One time mistake with a firearm from Palmetto. I won't make it again.

  22. I guess she should just consider herself lucky that a SWAT truck of thugs didn't show up to take her down in case of non-compliance. I hope by the time her lawsuit is done she's driving the police chief's car and living in the neighbor's house.
  23. I've been shopping with Palmetto State Armory since before they had their FFL. In the beginning shipping was quick, prices were fair, all was good. Then they started growing. I still kept buying from them, mostly ammo and accessories. Shipping got a little bit slower. No problem. I attributed it to growing pains and wasn't in a ridiculous hurry for anything so no big deal. Last week I ordered my first firearm from them. They had a good price on a relatively difficult item to find. Unlike Bud's or Ky Gun Co you can't add your FFL info during the ordering process. I know my FFL is already on file with them so I called to attach his information to my order. I got an answering machine during business hours. Fine. I leave a message with my FFL's name and address and the order number. I ask specifically for a call back to confirm they have all the info they need. No response. The next day I sent a follow up email with the same info asking for a reply. Fast forward to today- three messages and two emails later no one at the company has bothered to respond to any of my inquiries and there has been no change to the status of my order. I've never gotten to speak to an actual person on the phone, only answering machines. Oh yeah, they've already charged me for the full amount of my shipment. I'm pretty sure this is my last order with PSA. If I want crappy customer service I can find it locally
