  1. You mention you're willing to drive to Kentucky, are you willing to drive to Knoxville? ORSA has a 1,000 yard range where you can shoot pretty much anything except 50 bmg. Also benchrest, indoor pistol, IDPA, skeet, etc. It's a private range, membership is $150 a year. Best bargain on the planet.
  2. It's here... This may be anticlimactic after all of the build up but this is a big purchase for me. i found an Ed Brown dealer that was selling off all of his inventory at wholesale prices. I had admired the Molon Labe model when they were available on the Brown website but couldn't swing it then. The stars aligned (the FN sold) and here she is. I picked her up from Bill's yesterday and took it out shooting today. I can say with certainty that this pistol will never be the limiting factor as far as accuracy is concerned.
  3. I've gotten a late start today. Think I'll avoid the tailgating traffic and come out tomorrow instead.
  4. I'm planning on being there Saturday morning. I'd like to pick up the 846 and the primers I've been bugging the hell out of you about
  5. It's probably going to be anticlimactic when it shows up at this point. I will say that there is no plastic anywhere on it. I can also safely say that Caster will not like it as much as a Glock
  6. No luck today, maybe tomorrow...
  7. Not a new release, just waiting on the Brown Santa Claus to drop it off at Bill's Outpost.
  8. While I'd love a trainload of Civil War era hookers as much as the next guy this is different. I wouldn't sell my FiveSeven to pay for hookers. At least not really old ones...
  9. It may be here tomorrow...
  10. It's a different standard when you own the media.
  11. WTF are you talking about? Seriously, explain WTF you're talking about.
  12. Man, you're on a roll these days. That thing looks like it could pry up a manhole cover. I'm pretty sure I met him at Blade this year. If it's the same guy he had some really cool stuff on his table.
  13. Those are sexy little knives. Congrats on the score.
  14. Is anybody here an auto insurance adjustor? If so could you please PM me so I can ask a couple of questions?
  15. That was pretty damned cool.
  16. Not too concerned either. If they get to my house they'll be tired from walking up the hills. Plus their unlaced shoes and pants hanging halfway down their asses will slow them down. Stereotype- perhaps. They're stereotypes for a reason. Come to my house intending to do harm and I will show you how equal opportunity I can be
  17. Man, that is beautiful! Love that piece of amboyna.
  18. How about the second installment? Did I miss that one too? If so then D'oh! in advance. The RG III bit on this one cracked me up. http://profootballmock.com/?p=5020
  19. D'oh!! Ooops.
  20. Could not care less about baseball or professional basketball. I follow college football pretty closely, NFL football somewhat closely and college basketball a little bit.
  21. I know I have a juvenile sense of humor but I got a good laugh out of this. Will be a lot less funny to you if a) you don't follow the NFL and/or you don't have a juvenile sense of humor. Warning for bad language: http://profootballmock.com/?p=4810
  22. I see no need to carry mace for self defense. If I wanted to do that I wouldn't have gone to the trouble of getting a handgun carry permit. What about an unarmed idiot on bath salts? There's a good chance that pepper spray isn't going to affect them at all. By the time I realize that he's eaten half of my face off. Seriously though, there are so many permutations of bad guys that you'd have to wear a Batman style utility belt and have omnipotent judgement to carry all of the crap you'd need to proportionally deal with each type of threat.
  23. I'm sure the Polizei had their reasons to kill zee bad guy. Just trust in their judgement. They're here to protect and serve...
  24. I've been all over this country and this world and I've never felt any urge to spend any amount of time in Detroit. This article just reinforces that.
  25. The Bushwhacker handles are thinner than most of the scales Busse puts out. I'll put up a comparison picture of the Bushwhacker handles and the magnum variety whenever the passaround is done.
