  1. With a $300 price range and the criteria you put out I'd look for a lightly used Chris Reeve small Sebenza.
  2. Found this on his website: "All parts will be done except for the springs and deep down inside the bore."   http://www.mahovskysmetalife.com/index.htm
  3. Congrats. I don't believe that there is a better production knife in that price range.
  4. I'm getting ready to have one done with Ron Mahovsky. He's out of state but is highly regarded and fairly priced.
  5. I've got that exact rifle and it is a tack driver. I do have sunshade envy though :)
  6. Scrapyard makes a great knife, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
  7. I'm here but don't think I'm gonna be able to wait in this line.
  8. Congrats on the first of what will probably be many 1911's!
  9. Any chance you have a picture of it? I fly in that unit.
  10. Love the Garand shirt.
  11. That's why I mentioned the ESEE too...
  12. I second this. I don't think I'd drop $300 on a knife with anyone's name on it unless they made it. ESEE makes a great knife with the same 1095 steel for a lot less money. I'm personally a Busse fan and don't believe that you can buy a better semi-custom fixed blade knife for the money.
  13. Finally picked my DD up today. Order was delayed due to BCG being back ordered. My first impression is that this is an incredibly well made rifle with great attention to detail. Mine is also incredibly light, guessing 6 pounds or so unloaded. Can't wait to shoot it this weekend.
  14. I agree with that one, I also think a lot of the recent issues in the Classifieds could be resolved by the posters just simply reading the rules.   Not that anyone asked my opinion but I'd also like to see a rule that you have to post a picture of the actual item for sale. A link to the manufacturer's page doesn't cut it when you're trying to sell or buy a firearm.
  15. Unless I did drunk ordering AND receiving I don't think I could ever miss out on six mags. Congrats on the find!
  16. I've had Predator refinish a 1911 for me and they did a fantastic job on it. I can't recommend them strongly enough.
  17. The one in Knoxville had everything except for 9mm and 22lr today. No bulk stuff and not particularly cheap but they had it.
  18. Oh, in addition to the Klingspor belts pick up a Surgi Sharp leather belt for the sander.
  19. If you're going to go the belt sander route I'd recommend the Harbor Freight 1x30 sander with Klingspor belts. It's actually very intuitive to sand with a belt sander. Go to YouTube and watch a few videos.
  20. I hope that's the case. Maybe I just stop by at the wrong times.
  21. CCA has always been overpriced. At least they couple it with subpar service.
  22. Ugh, I just got my first case stuck night before last. A .223 that I apparently missed in the lube stage. The shell holder ripped the case rim off. It's stuck gooood...
  23. Nice to see a Sheriff with some common sense.
  24. Hmm, 5 or 6 months gone. Nothing has changed at all...
  25. He's a political douchebag and in certain circles would be considered a traitor to the Constitution. Screw him and he horse he rode in on.
