I should be okay. I've had a standard 10/22 for a few years now and have accumulated a couple of BX-25's and a few of the rotary style.

    Yeah, I just looked at my phone. I got through on my 24th attempt and considered myself lucky. They truly are one of the best out there.

I got through to Whittaker's on the phone today and ordered a Ruger 10/22 stainless takedown for $295 plus shipping. They had 80 of them in stock yesterday.

The Pelican case foam is usually pick and pluck, meaning that it's already scored so that you can just pull out the pieces you don't want and shape the opening however you like. I had one previously that wasn't pick and pluck and I used an electric knife to cut the foam to shape.

He is the largest Les Baer internet dealer in the country and could probably put you in one pretty close to your price range.   Short of that I'd recommend the Dan Wesson as many others have. I've got a 2009 CBOB and CCO as well as a 2012 Pointman 9 and they are all top notch.

I would never take anyone's brass without asking and I have asked someone to return my brass at ORSA when they started picking it up without asking me.   If I notice someone not saving brass I'll usually offer to clean it up for them if they don't want it.

Yep, I've ordered from them a couple of times in the past and have always had a good experience. If it wasn't for David they'd get a lot more of my business.

I have to believe that this is going to pass and 22lr will be plentiful again. Just don't overpay for the pistol now and be patient in searching for ammo (easier said than done).
