  1. I have been on this forum nearly 5 years and I have never seen good advice doled out so quickly and universally. Run, run fast and don't look back.
  2. I've got a CZ 452 with a Mannlicher stock that is an absolute joy to shoot. If you can find the ammo I sure love the caliber.
  3. Was completely clueless to this happening. Guess we have to pay sales tax if we order from Bud's online now.
  4. I got the shipping notification on mine yesterday and tracking shows it here tomorrow.
  5. Anyone received theirs yet? Ordered mine on the 15th and haven't seen anything except an order acknowledgement.
  6. Derringer. That is all.
  7. Thanks for posting this, looks like you have to call this one in unless I missed something in the promotion.
  8. Drive up the road to Predator Customs in Knoxville and have them build you a rifle to your specs. Not cheap but top quality.
  9. Major TJ Kong, my favorite!
  10. How did you read that out of anything he wrote?
  11. I know that Raj is a real person but this sounds like a scam. You sure this is real?
  12. If you get on Maxpedition's email list they'll send coupons pretty regularly.
  13. I use a couple of these for storage:   http://www.amazon.com/Sack-Ups-Grey-Knife-Protector-Holds/dp/B0031TW3YI/ref=pd_sim_sg_8?ie=UTF8&refRID=1E4FKY0ZPCBKPW277FT8   For my more expensive folders I use one of these:   http://www.edcknives.com/bills-custom-cases-6-pack-6-x-2/
  14. Its a Busse trademark. They call it a talon-hole. Some people use it in conjunction with the hole in the hilt to attach d-guards.
  15. There are silicon knife socks that are already sectioned to keep them from touching. I'll put up a picture of one tomorrow. SMKW sells them.
  16. You got it, just a hair over 12 inches overall.
  17. We talked about this one a little bit in the Blade Show discussion. A couple of us who were lucky enough to go to Blade had the opportunity to meet Jeff Axelson, the brother of Matt Axelson from Lone Survivor. Jeff has a company called Axelson Tactical who in conjunction with Busse Combat produced the Axehammer tribute knife. I ordered mine at Blade and had it in hand less than a week later. It is typical Busse quality, that is to say indestructible. The knife is INFI steel and is 12" overall length. It has a sage coating and G-10 scales. The sheath is made by David Brown and has the Axelson Tactical logo on it. I really had no need for another knife in this size range but I thought the story and history behind it were cool enough to pick one up.
  18. This. There is no logical or legal reason to give a stranger my personal information.
  19. All of those were shut down except one. Nice!
  20. Okay, thanks. So it will have all the text and the graphics then?
  21. Steve is the Godfather going to have the same graphics as the LG101?
  22. I spoke with Dave at Blade on Saturday and he indicated that he expected the knife components to be at the shop when they returned. Shouldn't be long now...
  23. We just got back, fourth year in a row. Had a great time as usual. Always good to catch up with old friends.   I was pretty low key on purchases this year. I scored in the Hinderer cell phone lottery and picked up a couple of Busses. I also stopped by the Pro-Tech booth to thank Dave for what he's doing for us with the LG101 and the Godfather. I saw a tuxedo Godfather at his booth and am really looking forward to that one now.   Also got to meet Axelson's brother which was pretty cool. Busse is doing a special run of knives called the Axehammer. They were taking orders directly and offering a discount at the show. He also had his brother's dogtags and a necklace with what they believe was the last bullet Axelson had on him when he was killed.
