  1. +1 perfect !
  2. Sooooooo Who thought they would get a "Honest" report about guns from NBC??????????????
  3. I saw the pics of your Kimbers in another thread, very nice guns. I have a RIA 1911 Match and a Ruger SR1911 both shoot better then I do. But my most prized is a old Ithica 1911A1 WWII vintage. There is just something about a old G.I 1911 thats hard to explain, it's like you can feel the history in it. Then again it's as close as I could get to the one I carried in Vietnam 1967 .
  4. Very nice AV and congrats Rob1
  5. I have a Sabre Defense that shoots better then me :2cents:
  6. Thanks for the pictures AV, for awhile there I thought I was loosing it. " I've always been crazy but it's kept me from going insane" :screwy:
  7. Scary part is, there are people out there dumb enought to buy it.

  9. +1 ......What he said!
  10. Not so at the Walmart I go to, I agree sometimes full cases do show up mostly shotgun shells, sometimes 9mm .40 and .45 in 50 and 100 packs. Most of the rifle ammo shows up in what you call "break packs" A few 20 round packs of different cal. so I guess they do break down full cases at the DC. I don't mean to disagree you AV, but I've watched them open the boxes and put the stamps on. Other then shotgun shells they get more break packs then full cases. We have a smaller Walmart, only one entrance, so we maybe getting the leftovers from the DC. I wish they would ship only full cases. Last time Tulammo 7.62x39 came in there were only 4 boxes of 20 rounds, I split them with the next guy in line that wanted some.
  11. Why would you think there should be 3 more boxes? Many times they ship less then a full case and ues what ever boxes they have.
  12. I'm good on 9mm, 45acp, 38spl and .223.I have a order in for a case of .22lr and will be good on that, if it ever comes in. I could use 7.62x39 and 7.62x51,308, but not really hurting. I'm not going to the range like I used to and only shoot what I feel I have extra. If I find ammo at a good price I buy what I can when I can. I won't sell what I have and I don't shoot what I can't replace.
  13. Lets not forget Oliver Stone crying in his beer over Chavez. Remember all of them at the box office.
  14. I have the Rossi/Braztech .357 with 24in oct barrel, fun gun to shoot.
  15. I just left a message on the Ruger Website. Under News & Resources click on Tell the CEO. Send a note, it couldn't hurt. http://www.ruger.com/resources/tellTheCEO.html
  16. +1 on that. I like my Chicom AK battlefield pickup There is nothing wronge with a CZ either.
  17. Thanks Dolomit and Lngrngshtr, I thought I had this figured out, now you have me thinking Mil Dots :screwy:
  18. Thanks John That site cleared up alot of the questions I had. I zero at 25-30yds then fine tune at 100 and move on from there. I think for the price I can get the Nikon for it will work for me.
  19. Hi Dolomite I got this off the Nikon site: BDC 600 Reticle: Developed specifically for the trajectory of the .223 Rem 5.56 NATO round with 55-grain polymer tip bullet, the new BDC 600 reticle offers shooters unique open circle aiming points and hash marks from 100 to 600 yards   I'm looking to use this on a Savage  mod 11 Hog Hunter in 223 Rem. something to play with out to 100-500 yards. I also have a Sabre Defence AR. that I can mount it on to do some longer range shooting. Got a deal on the Nikon for $400 shipped, thats hard to pass up. Thanks for your reply Eyes arn't what they used to be and a scope sure helps.
  20. Looking for feed back on this scope, has anyone used this scope and what are the pros and cons. I found one at a killer price and would like some first hand info.
  21. I'm not sure if this has been posted before. But even if it has we can't send enought letters to our Represenatives. :usa:   http://www.ruger.com/index.html
  22. Sounds like your freinds manager is looking to win "The A..Hole of the Month Award". Maybe it's time to start listing the Walmarts that are playing games with their ammo supplies. The only reasons I can see to hide it from the public is, holding it for your friends, buying it for yourself and selling on GB or GA or just screwing with people. I'm sure if any of these reasons are true, the store manage would not be happy if a complaint was made to him or higher up. Just my  :2cents:
