I wouldn't exactly call the AK's junk compared to the SKS unless you would also call the AR's junk compared to the M-14 during the mid 1960's. Both the AR and the AK had there problems, if I remember right. Your right about the VC, they weren't picky, they used what ever they could get there hands on.

I don't see why this is a big deal, Academy has done this before. There prices aren't that great I can get better prices at my local mom & pop store. -
Grandfathers Don't Always Know Everything... Hunter was 4 years old and was staying with his grandfather for a few days. He'd been playing outside with the other kids, when he came into the house and asked, "Grandpa, what's that called when two people sleep in the same bedroom and one is on top of the other?" His Grandpa was a little taken aback, but he decided to tell him the truth. "Well, Hunter, it's called sexual intercourse." "Oh," Little Hunter said, "OK," and went back outside to play with the other kids. A few minutes later he came back in and said angrily, "Grandpa, it isn't called sexual intercourse." "It's called Bunk Beds. And Jimmy's mom wants to talk to you."

A Wave Of The Future A big earthquake with the strength of 8.1 on the Richter scale hits the Middle East. Two million Muslims die and over a million are injured. Iraq, Iran and Syria are totally ruined and the governments don't know where to start with providing help to rebuild. The rest of the world is in shock. Britain is sending troops to help keep the peace. Saudi Arabia is sending oil & monetary assistance. Latin American countries are sending clothing. New Zealand and Australia are sending sheep, cattle and food crops. The Asian countries are sending labor to assist in rebuilding the infrastructure. Canada is sending medical teams and supplies. President Donald Trump, not to be outdone, is sending two million replacement Muslims. God Bless President Trump.

I have worn his MIA/POW bracelet since 1984 when I went to a motorcycle ride for Illinois MIA/POWs and I was given his name tag and I had the honor of riding in his place. Latter that day I looked thru two boxes of bracelets before I found his and come to find out we were in country the same time. Years later at a MIA/POW ride to the Traveling Wall down in Florida I looked him up and found that his birthday was only a few day away from mine. Fast forward to 2010 my youngest daughter who was going the UT wanted to take with me to D.C. and see the real Wall for my Birthday. We just picked a day that worked for her and off we went. We went to the Wall and I had her take some pictures of my hand with the bracelet on pointing to his name on the Wall. She asked about the bracelet and I told her, she then asked what day was his birthday as mine was getting pretty close. I said I wasn't sure what the exact date was and she could go to the booth where they had the book of all the records and they would look it up. She did while I looked up a few more names on the Wall. A few minutes later she came back crying and I asked her what was wrong. All she could say was " His birthday is today" and that's when I lost it. RIP Eddie, You are not forgotten http://www.virtualwall.org/dc/ClintonDE01a.htm

Nothing is fair in this world, maybe we need to remind some of our liberal friends of that fact. -

The only one you need to please is yourself, if your happy with the new site then roll with it. Your not going to make everyone happy no matter what you do. Some people wouldn't be happy if you hung them with a new rope. I think you have done a great job and just want to thank you for the time and trouble you go thru giving us a place to get together. Thank You

To each his own, pay what it's worth to you. I have plenty of what ever cal. I shoot. If I see anything at a good price I buy it. If it's on the high side I pass on it. I'm at a point now if I want shoot I get ammo out of the safe and don't worry about having to replace it a.s.a.p. and it's a good feeling. -
Can you PM me also?
