  1.     Exactly, remove one ass-clown and they get replaced with a bigger ass-clown. Gun rights started going down hill in Illinois when JFK got shot (gun was bought in Chicago by mail order). No more direct mail order of guns. Next, no hand gun sales in Chicago ( Cook County) because of the gangs, this doesn't stop the killing, but now you can blame it on the surrounding county's for selling guns. Next you needed a FOI card (firearms owners id) to buy a gun or ammo in Illinois, just a scam to get a few extra $ for the state and make it harder for legal gun owners. Next they let each city make up their own rules banning guns and magazines. Most flew in under the radar, passed by city counsels as a knee jerk reaction to gang crime. No one cared, the State Government in Springfield and down state was Republican. The Dems just had Chicago, no big deal! let them do what ever they wanted up there. The Chicago cancer spread to the west, north, and south as the population moved out of the city and into the rural areas now they have the numbers and control the state government in Springfield. And out of The Peoples Republic of Illinois came the greatest Ass-Clown of all, Obama! :wall:
  2. That's the way most of the people in Illinois thought in the 60's-70's & 80's. Now Chicago politics run the whole state. Don't think for a minute that it can't happen in Tennessee. What do you think happened to Colorado? It's all the nuts that moved there from the peoples republic of California that spread the cancer. Now most of the people in rural Colorado are scratching their heads trying to figure what the hell just happened to their gun rights. Same goes for the people of up state New York.
  3. Taking legal action against the Democrats in Chicago is like beating your head against a brick wall...........because if feels so good when you stop. :wall:
  4. You have to be dead to register as a democrat in Chicago. I know because my folks were Illinois republicans and the only time they voted democrat was after they died.
  5. I agree, got mine today too.
  6. Thanks for the update. But Gander Mt quit being a "deal" along time ago. They were great to buy hunting and reloading supplies from back in the 70's- 80's, worth the 150 mile round trip drive from northern Illinois to there store in Wisconsin. I wouldn't drive across town to buy from them these days. JMHO
  7. I received a shipping notice for the M-22's today, they shipped Friday.
  8. Walmart In Kimball had CCI & Winchester 22lr today along with 45 and 40.
  9. Walmart blocked access to their ammo inventory months ago because it was never right an just pissed customers off. This web site goes around the block and shows the inventory just like what you could do before Walmart blocked it. Believing Walmarts online inventory was a crap shoot before they blocked it, and I don't see why it should be any different now. I would call before I drove any great distance, but if your close by and it shows in stock you may want to give it a try.
  10. When all this started I was a little short on ammo and never thought .22lr would be this hard to find. Since then I made up a list of what I was willing to pay for target/plinking ammo. I have cut my range time some what and I don't shoot what I can't replace. If I see ammo within my price range I buy it, anything over and I walk away. I've traded for calibers I couldn't find at the time and I've sold to my friends at cost, if they needed it. I set my prices tax included or with shipping. Most of what I have bought was less then my max price. I guess its up to you what your willing to pay and how much you shoot. But it does look like supply is catching up with demand or the "fools" are running out of money. Either way its a good thing. What's your top price for ammo? or if you reloader's want to jump in, list your top/max prices for components.   7.62 x 39      $30/100 .223/556      $40/100 9mm             $30/100 45acp            $45/100 38spl             $35/100 .22LR             $28/500
  11. It's sad to see someone  wish something like this on anyone over a box of ammo. Also surprised to see some of the people that "liked it".
  12. Order shipped on Friday
  13. The 50 and 100 pack of CCI.
  14. I did the same thing, passed on the Remington in search of Fed. and Win. Lucky to find 5 bricks of 555 Win. in mid Nov. I split that with a couple of friends I shoot with an we were good for a couple of months. Since then I found some 225 Rem. and tried it out, and agree with you about the quality. Fed and Win. bricks are starting to show up at WM. Still no CCI.
  15. I agree. I would love to see Lower Then Dirt go under. Still would like to hear from a MOD if this topic has their blessing.
  16. +1 :usa: I agree with you 100%
  17. Can we start a topic listing all these over priced sellers? Keep it pinned to the forum and put all of these over priced dealers on display so members think twice about spending their money with them. I will start if it OK with TGO.
  18. Walmart here is 3 box total/per day, mix or match calibers. Academy is 30 miles away and not worth the drive for 1 box. Gander and Bass Pro to far to drive without making a day of it. Besides Gander has not had good prices for years. Walmart shipments over the past 2 weeks have been very good, even 2 or more cases of .22LR at a time. Nothing that's going to stay on the shelf for two days but better then what it been.
  19. "Winning the hearts and minds of people" I did that in 1967 in Vietnam, it didn't work there. It didn't work in Iraq and it's not working in Afghanistan.   But I guess you can try and make a case for it.   I look at it this way. Even if you could get all the Walmarts to go along with this, it's only a part of the supply chain, unless you assume the scalpers only get their supply from Walmart. Go on Gun Broker check out the ammo for sale at scalpers prices, the case lot sales are not from Walmart, they are from the local gun shops, and they don't even try to hide who they are. The ammo you see pop up for sale on Cabelas,  Academy, Midway, and any of the other big email suppliers is the same stuff you see 2 weeks later on Gun Broker and the other gun sites. People paying these outrageous prices don't care where it came from or what the scalpers paid for it. They want it, they want it now and they don't care what the price is. They paid double or triple the going price for their new AR, AK, or 10/22 and mags, so why would you think they would smarten up when when it comes to ammo? The best way to find how much the people are willing to pay for a item is to make them believe they won't be able to buy it in the near further. The ass clowns in Washington took care of that and the panic buying went into full swing.   IMHO the only way things are going to get back to normal,(what ever the new normal is going to be) is when supply catches up to demand or when all the fools run out of money or when all the idiots get voted out of Washington. My bet is on supply &  demand.   Sorry for the rant, wish there was a easy answer. If stamping the boxes works, more power to you.   Please take a moment tomorrow, June 6th, to remember all the men who gave their all on June 6, 1944, D-DAY :usa:
  20. That is sweet! Great job.
  21. I just don't see how stamping Walmart or anything else on the box is going to stop someone from reselling it or someone from buying it at a unreal price. Scalping won't stop until supply catches up with demand. As long as there a buyers dumb enough to pay these prices you will have scalpers selling to them. YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID :wall:
  22. His price is right in line with what it would cost to buy all this ammo from Walmart. I see no problem buying from him. If he would of posted this on TGO's Classified it would of sold by now and he would be a good guy for selling for no profit. But put it on Armslist and he becomes a "scalper" before we even know what and why he's selling . Maybe his ad wasn't worded in the best way, but I think we need to lighten up a bit on judging people. Itchytriggerfingers post put a whole new light on the ad. I'm also happy to see we have people here that are big enough to post that they may of jumped the gun on this one
  23. I've bought Tula 223 & 7.62x39 and the limit was 5 boxes per cal. per order.
  24. Ruger Mark I bought used in 1960
