  1. I just received a add from SWFA showing this scope on sale, $100 off http://swfa.com/Nikon-4-16x42-M-308-Riflescope-P51929.aspx
  2. We have had .223/5.56 sitting on the shelves at our Wally World for the past month now. Also .45, .40 and 9mm.
  3. Why has that ship sailed? I don't understand. No shortage of ammo at our Walmarts  other then 22 and 380.
  4. I don't buy into that. Go to Gun Broker and do a search on 22lr under the ammo tab. Twenty-two pages of 22lr ammo for sale. The ability for anyone with a PC to sell on the internet to a unlimited buyer base is what's driving the reseller market and fueling the "shortage"
  5. I see no one attacking you here, just correcting you.
  6. I've seen the same thing with the Walmarts in my area. Plenty of 9mm, 45, 223, 556, But no 22 to speak of. But then again I bought enough over the past year that I haven't had to do the Walmart  Breakfast Club thing for  the past 6 months. As far as how much 22 is enough? Everyone has their on needs. I've heard guys on here say they bought a brick  2 years ago and still have half of it left. If I take my M&P 15-22 out to shot I can go thought a brick in a afternoon by myself. A year ago I would of thought 5k rounds would be enough to keep on hand, but with this 22 shortage going into its second year, that 5K maybe on the low side. If I need to replace ammo I've used, I have no problem playing the Walmart game before I pay $50-$75 a brick to the scalpers or the local mom and pop gun shop who jacked their prices to the same level as the scalpers.
  7. S&W 386 sc/s made only one year 2007 I believe
  8. I have them both and have had no problems with either of them.
  9. SWFA is a great outfit to deal with.   Bushnell 1-4x24 AR Optics 30mm Rifle Scope & Mount Kit
  10. I'll second that.
  11. Congrats
  12. So please tell us what jobs you have had that makes you so all knowing.
  13. Be very careful with that all natural beard when shooting a long bow. It may be Kevlar rated to .50bmg but a bow string will rip right through it. Don’t ask me how I know
  14. I buy all of my wild honey at the fall craft shows in Fall Creek Falls and Ketner's Mill. I got hooked on it when we moved here in 2005. I always like to try different flavors, sourwood and wild flower are my must haves and muscadine was last years new flavor. Good luck with your sales, wish you were closer.
  15. What color Q50 Infinity?  :bowrofl:
  16. Very well done!
  17. I think the reasoning here is " If we can't stop the scalpers from screwing people dumb enough to pay their prices we should screw everyone to make up for it" :wall:
  18. Tmf, don't you know you can't disagree with the all knowing Itis! If you do your just "ridiculing" him and he has to use  "very simple language" because your just to dumb to see that he is always right! He just can't figure out the fact, that government regulations and greedy unions killed the "American Dream". Of course the fact that I worked in manufacturing for over 30 years, and I saw first hand what NAFTA, OSHA, UAW, & AFL-CIO did to drive the American jobs off shore will carry no credibility compared to the BS he is being feed from our leaders in Washington. So lets just have another round of :koolaid:
  19. :koolaid:
  20. Had them at our WM also $445.00 case of 1000 plus tax
  21. I think you are right on the money.
  22. You may want to check out this site:http://www.tn.gov/safety/dlhandbook/DL_Manual2011.pdf It's the Tennessee Drivers License Handbook, the one you read to learn the answers to the written part of the drivers test. On page 85 there is a list of offences that deal with "Losing your PRIVILEGE to drive." It was call a privilege back in Illinois in 1963 when I received my first drivers license and it's still called a privilege today in Tennessee. But I'm sure you were much smarter then your anxious parents were when they told you that. As most of us were at that age. When I was 19 I couldn't believe how dumb my folks were. After coming home from Vietnam at 21, I couldn't believe how smart they got in 2 years.
  23. The point I was making is that $69.99 a brick for Winchester .22lr is 3Xs more then what Walmart is selling the same item for. In my book that is "Scalping".  I also stated I didn't know what his supplier was charging him or what his overhead was. After reading Cherokee Slim's post I was willing to give the new shop a visit. Dane posted that he is using Walmart and Academy as his ammo suppliers. If that's the case then he's a Scalper and I won't be buying anything from him. If the ammo your selling is priced at the going rate for that brand and I needed it I would have no problem paying your price. If I saw you were charging 3Xs more then other dealers just because you have it and they don't, I would buy somewhere else or do without
  24. You can disagree all you want. It is a privilege and if you screw up bad enough behind the wheel and they will take that privilege "drivers license" away.
  25. Just got back from the gun show in Chattanooga, prices on most ammo down from the last show, but still high. A few of the sellers are just a couple of dollars above Walmart prices per box. .22lr still way over priced. Walked out of there with all my money still in my wallet. All in all a nice waste of a Sat. morning.
