I have enjoyed many hours at the range with my SR1911 full size, but always wished they had made it in a blued model. Thanks for all the input, I will be putting one on order this weekend.

That's what the Army did back in 1966! Took away our M14 gave us a new M16 and shipped us off to Vietnam

This :up: I've never had a problem with my sr1911. It eats anything I feed it and I use factory mags also.

I agree with you about sharing information. Unfortunately some people are not happy until everyone's not happy.

If that's the case, the Wal-Mart manager that he talked to has to be a idiot to say that. I've heard from more then one WM employee that they can only buy after they get off shift and not before it gets stocked on the shelves. But who knows what goes on at different stores. If you think that there is something shady going on call their complaint number and report it. 1-800-WAL-MART I did just that last year and got a reply from the store manager in just a couple days, and a follow up call from Wal-Mart. Just my :2cents:

No more then what Walmart sells it for. I don't understand the "need" for $70-$100 / brick of .22lr ammo.
