  1. And be retired!!!!!!!!
  2.   Kind of like being on the interstate going into a construction zone, you see the warning sign that says the right lane is closed 1 mile ahead. You move over to the left lane and traffic comes to a stop, well before the right lane is closed. A group from the back pays no attraction to the warning sign starts to pass on the right  and they expect you to let them in when the right lane ends. They are the ones that cause the backup! But you are supposed to yield to them because they have that "It's all about me" attitude.
  3.  I don't think it has passed yet, I see other states are thinking about it and Tn. is one of them. I guess squeezing between two cars is a good idea, as long as you have a helmet on. I'm sure California gave this idea as much thought as their gun laws. Just my :2cents:
  4. From the article:" As Sam filtered to the front of traffic at a stop light," I take that to mean he was going in between cars and not in a lane of his own, to get to the front, at the stop light. Not too smart, or too legal. Then he is going to drop the F word on the guy driving 2 tons of BMW, while he is sitting on 800 pounds of scooter. Again, not too smart.  I am in no way saying that the driver of the cage had a right to hit the guy on the bike. I hope they put him in jail and throw away the key. But, Sam doesn't seem to be the brightest bulb on the string, either. Like peejman said "That didn't work out quite so well".

I can't see that scent put into a candle, no one would want to get near it with a flame.
  6. The article is from Dec. 14, 2012.
  7. If this is all that gets you mad with Tennessee drivers, then you have never driven in Florida.
  8. I like snubnose and carry and LCR or my Glock 26. This has it's place in the night stand. S&W 386 SC/S. I believe they were only made 1 or 2 years. Kicks like a mule with .357 but not too bad with .38spl.
  9. Why not just get a HCP? It's hard enough to secure  a handgun in a car or truck, no way I would leave it on a bike. The most secure place for the gun when you are away from the bike is on your body :2cents:
  10. This is my front plate on my truck
  11. http://www.amazon.com/Coexist-Gun-Decal-Bumper-Sticker/dp/B00G8S07FQ For those who want one, this is where I found them.
  12. The O'Reilly in our town will turn them. But check the price for new, not much difference, Like Peejman said.
  13. I think a Hipster is what you get when you cross a Hippie with a Yuppie. :2cents:
  14. I bet it wasn't one like this.
  15. It sure makes me feel safe.  http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/army-chief-999-percent-confident-no-one-was-harmed-by-anthrax/ar-BBklxJs?ocid=DELLDHP       I'm 100% certain the Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno isn't 99.9% confident about anything!
  16. Welcome to TGO
  17. Lets not forget about the first couple days out, when all the troops onboard are sea sick. :puke:
  18. I went to Vietnam on the Gen. Patch. The Rose was in the rotation along with the Darby.  We left Oakland on Dec.12, 1966 arrived Dec. 31, 1966. My avatar 9th Division  Army. Nothing like sailing the Pacific on a troop ship. LOL Great story brought back old memories.
  19.      http://www.tn.gov/twra/smallgamehunt.html   Looks like year round  and no limit
  20. Not unheard of, if you have a large group of bikes. It is done so all the bikes can stay together and no cars get mixed with the group. It's not right, and shouldn't be done, I never liked it. For that matter I never liked riding in large groups.
  21. Went to Walmart early this morning, needed some stuff for the smoker. Saw 2 guys at the gun counter waiting for ammo to get unpacked. They got a case of 2000 M-22 LR.  1000per box  and 2 bricks of 500 per box. Each guy took a 1000 round box. One guy offered to split his box with me, the other said he waited all year to score 22lr so his kids could shoot, but also offered to split the box with me. I have to believe they were both shooters. I said "no thanks", and picked up a couple boxes of 9mm. Just good to see that the scalpers seem to be on the decline here.
  22. Sounds like he has the right attitude, and just  needs to have you teach him some more knowhow.   Anyone who enjoys mowing and likes to relax on the mower, please come on over, you're more then welcome to cut mine. I need more time to go to the range. :pleased:
  23. Mine does the same thing.
  24. Happy Memorial Day..............All Gave Some.....Some Gave All
