  1. "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." - Friedrich Nietzsche   It's a wonder any of my generation got to be this old. :pleased:
  2. Chances are if you had a "dangerous toy", your Dad bought it for you and the only time you got to play with it is when he was done playing with it.
  3. I had a black CJ5, Cougar and a couple HDs now I have a Crossfire Roadster. Something's are just worth being a pain in the A$$. Nice truck!
  4. Your right!  We need more stories like this.
  5. I can't pass on the price, so I ordered it out. Thanks for the feedback.
  6. It's back working now. Has over a hundred votes.
  7. Can you please post where you saw this? I go to Illinois to visit friends and have never heard of this.
  8. Does anyone have this scope. Bushnell (AR Optics) AR/22  2-7x32mm scope. I'm looking to put it on a S&M MP15-22. Bushnell has a $30.00 rebate on these.  Please post feedback. I'm not looking for a red dot.  Thanks :usa:   http://bushnell.com/tactical/rifle-scopes/ar-optics/2-7x-32mm
  9. Should be cheaper land in the Sequatchie Valley then on the rim. Plus the river is in the valley.
  10. I went to the dark side many years ago G19 & G26. I still love my 1911's and shoot both. It's the best of both worlds. Nice work on the holster.  Enjoy  :woohoo:
  11. Sounds like they got you hooked, and you have made up your mind. Bottom line is your the one pulling the trigger, if you can live with the deal and it makes you happy that's all that matters. :2cents:   PS. Do your homework and never deal on window sticker price.
  12. I was issued a 1911 and a M-79 before I left for Nam, in 1966 .  Just had a couple days training with both before we shipped. It really pissed off the brass that a SPC4 had a pistol. :)  The M203 was just being introduced when I left Nam late 1967. The M16 was new at the time, early 1967 and still needed to have some bugs worked out, all magazines  were only 20 rounds.
  13. I never said or did anything to dishonor the flag and I lowered to half-staff only when the Governor said to do so. I'm not on Federal land and I don't have to wait for  obama to make up his mind, and do the right thing. I also disagree with you, it is about obama and his disrespect of the flag, our troops and the United States. Sorry for the  but I'm tired of this so called leader and his B.S.   Now, after all this time he finally gave the order to lower the flag to half-staff, Sorry, too little too late.
  14. Tennessee Governor called for the flag to be lowered along with other states Governors. Any Fed buildings are still waiting for so called president to do the right thing. Don't hold your breath.   Stars & Stripes has this to say http://www.stripes.com/news/us/no-explanation-by-obama-on-flags-not-lowered-to-half-staff-for-chattanooga-shootings-1.358915   A technicality should never stop you from doing the right thing. Just my :2cents:
  15. I posted this in another thread yesterday, before this one was started.       "The only flag not at half-staff in Dunlap, Tennessee is at the Post office. When I called and asked why, they claimed they were not authorized by the Fed. to lower it to half-staff.  I haven't felt this disgusted with our so called leaders in Washington  since I was advised not to wear my uniform in public when I returned from Vietnam, back in the 60's". :surrender:
