I agree and plus the new AR style 22s with all the new 20+ mags will rip thru a brick of ammo in no time. Even the 10/22 has a high cap. mag now. You can run thru a 500 round brick in an afternoon of plinking. I'm not saying its all being shot up, but the demand sure went up over the past couple years.

You guys seam to forget about all the scalpers out there. Just on GB there is 7 pages of adds for .22LR, of course you have to pay though the nose for it. This drives shooters to buy anything they can find at .05-.07 cents/round. Even if it's 1 or 2 boxes at a time. I'm not sure if you want to call everyone that has 10-20k of .22lr a hoarder or a scalper, most are just shooters that don't want to be caught short again. The average shooter that had 500-1k rounds laying around the house now has 10x that amount, because he just can't go to Wally World or the local Mom & Pop store and pick up a box or 2 before going to the range. Who knows how much the scalpers have laying around. It's been 3 years since the run on .22's started, is it getting better? Somewhat. Will it ever get back to the way it was? Who knows.

IFITFY Kidd trigger is the way to go in a 10/22

I ordered the Taran +2 mag extenders from Shooters Source in McKinney, Tx. 2 for $67.95 shipped, they should be in tomorrow. I will look into the Alien Gear Holster and the Remora. I went to the range yesterday and the G43 ate everything I feed it. :up: Its recoil is a little sharper then the G26 but not bad and the trigger is, well a Glock. It shoots were you point it, so all in all it's a keeper :pleased:   Thanks for all the feedback :rock:

I've looked at these, Bond is the best IMHO and .45lc & .410 seams to be the favorite combo.

They better be good for what they cost, do you know of a good place to order from? Trigger is not to bad on this one, I didn't put a gage on it yet. I'm going to the range tomorrow will see how it shoots.

I have been putting off getting a G43 since they came out and kept saying my G26 was good enough. Well I went to the local gun shop and they had one there and it kept calling out to me. So I took a look at it and slipped it in my pocket and tried it inside my waist band and it followed me home. :woohoo:   I know the info I'm looking for has been asked before, :shake:  but what is the slimmest inside the waist band holster you guys have found as I wear Levies most the time and have a 33 waist. I'm also looking for feedback on a mag extender to give it a extra round or two. :shrug:

Again, nobody knows if it was a good or bad deal if we don't know what you have into your built 10/22. :shrug:

I was stationed just outside of D.C. in Va. back in the 60s. I got to see most of the must see's back then.  I went back a few years ago with my daughter to view the Wall and a couple other sites. I will never go back.

This has always been SOP with me. But I've been to many gun shops that don't follow this simple rule.
