  1. Oh wow talk about a spoiler.
  2. Well I would hound the crap out of them. It amazing the stupid things we do in college and never think about the consequences. I got busted with a dude and charged with a civil offense of drug paraphanelia. I had a pack of rolling papers and for busted for public intoxication as well in gatlinburg when I was 21. This was 13 years ago and it made my criminal justice degree pretty much useless. I don't think I can get a job in law enforcement because of this. All though I have never tried.
  3. Well all of these cats mentioned are good but I think Robert Duvall deserves an honorable mention for his role in Apocalypse Now. Also R Lee Ermy was good in The Siege of Firebase Gloria.
  4. Well I liked it other than a few far fetched scenes. Wasn't political which is good. Started out slow but picked up, had a few drag outs it could have done without.
  5. Ran across this earlier Orlando Sentinel - College Gridiron 365 Blog – Runaway Lane is never coming back kinda funny
  6. Oh my......
  7. Well his wife couldn't even do a help Haiti commercial without a TelePrompTer. That one was funny as she tried sk hard to sound like she cared. Guess that's why she generously donates a whopping 15000 dollars.
  8. Thanks for the info
  9. I was reading up on some Tennessee militia's and there really does not seem to be much info available online. Anyone know anyone in a militia? I was wondering If these peoe are nut jobs or if there would be any benefit in getting involved with one in for survival?
  10. Welcome fellow tri
  11. Mickey mouse would have won the last election, republicans didn't have a chance. It was Democrats Vs Bush.
  12. If a person thinks his own opinion is fact.........he is in for a miserable existance.
  13. No.....and I'm not rich or anything, but I can afford one. And I have had them as well. 2 of them.
  14. I have been a member at GT for a while and joined here recently. It's amazing to me the different opinions people have that live across the country vs here where we all live in the same area. Discussions here are better and more if a "educated" environment. I like the people here and feel this is the best forum in the country. However I'm staying out of the political and religous issues here. Hahaha. Great job guys, nice place to talk guns.
  15. I've owned Kimbers for one reason, I bought cheap to resell. I'm not that impressed, kinda like buying a Cadillac Escalade sure its expensive and ups your "social status" but the Tahoe is the same thing for a lot cheaper. Take a ruger or glock to the range and laugh at them when you beat them.
  16. Forget the kid, someone will end fighting it on the street corner one day.
  17. Ohh man .........whatever works I guess.
  18. The first organization I saw on the news this morning when they were talking about this was a picture of the NRA headquarters. I found that a bit amusing coming from CBS.
  19. That dog is a stud.
  20. I often wonder about BET. I mean not that I care but isn't that a bit racist? Like if there was a WET. Wouldn't that be contraversial?
  21. No not him.....that's my sister. Err brother. Wait......hmmmmm
  22. Well this is my final post on the matter. The results achived with all students in school can not be shown on a bs test or piece if paper. The problem is that the school teachers suck and that isn't the kids fault. It's the fault of the horsecrap colleges in this state that dish out teaching degrees like they are candy. Believe it or not there are some good teachers out there who want to make a difference and not take the jobs to get summers and holidays off. But hey let's support those kids in Haiti and waste tax payer money on them. They are going to contribute a lot to society. Natural Selection would have cured the world of a major drug port and vodoo nation if we would have just left them alone.
  23. "Are there no churches in your area with pre-K programs? I'll tell you what. I'll gladly donate $100 to a local church to help take in one of these kids. Get a couple more folks here to do the same and we've solved your problem." And I just now saw this. Pre-k in churches??? No there isn't. There is a preschool in churches they are entirely different things. I'm sure you are an educated man so your children probably know where they live and know how to dial 911 in an emergency. These children know nothing of the sort. They come from homes that don't even teach them how to spell their names. Now with that said look at the big picture. They are already behind in basic skills and knowledge your children already have. So in the long run these are the children that are at high risk for future welfare and criminals. If you save just a few from a close to certain outcome, you pay for the " rip off " to tax payers you speak of in future welfare and court costs we have to pay for anyway. Maybe you should go to my wife's school with Ron.
  24. All I can do is laugh at this. You want to fight a waste of money you need to start with these idiots who get wellfare and foodstamps. You want to save the taxpayers money, then let's get strippers and servers at restuarants to pay their fair share. This is laughable to me that people would cut childrens programs for the reasons you have outlined. I can't believe people would want to punish children for their own personal reason such as what is stated here. With all the bs that we waste money on let's go ahead and cut jobs even more. You cut this program and you cut 100' s of jobs and take a few more out of the workplace or you add MORE welfare and tax payer money for each child these parents stick into another govt funded child care program. This will cost the taxpayers even more money in child assistance for each one of the children that will probably go to booze and cig's. This is absurd, but then again just my opinion.
