Read the study it had nothing to do with "gangta's" It was based on 43 interveiws over a variety of crimes. Nowhere does it say gangsta." Don't read to much into that I'm not trying to insult you. Considering he was a college athlete graduated mcl, is still in rocking shape I would say high school boys are not more qualified than he is. Once again my opinion. But I know some military guys , my dad flew dustoff in Vietnam and I come from a long line of military. Bottom line is they should let him in. But maybe he is going to vet some people at work to talk to the air guard guys at mcgee Tyson Im sure he will be fine......but shouldn't have to go through all of that.

Well based off of the FBI gangsta study I would say if 40% had military training then yes they are taking some hood rats. And because my buddy let a recruiter talk him to some gogo juice to try and mask it in the 90's I would say yes he used bad judgement. But to keep someone out who really wants to make a difference and do something especially after what he has accomplished is just wrong. He is a great guy and a true patriot. It just sucks that one crappy decision he made wouldn't keep him from getting a q clearance but keeps out of the reserves. I think that is lame but opinions are like buttholes.

He failed the drug test at meps. He was never in the army. I would understand all of this if he would have been booted or served in the army. He failed the initial drug test to join when he was 18. This is just stupid, IMO. But hey, they are going to modify the law enforcement entrance exam for minorities in some states so I guess our dumbing down of the country isn't going to stop with the military.

And umm no , he told them about it when he sat down. My point is the government trusts him to be around and design nuclear weapon parts, he has a freaking masters degree in design and graphics with some kind of engineering something but they are letting trash bag hood rats and America haters in the army but won't let him in because of something that happened 16 years ago. I think he has more to offer than some stupid hood rat that is gettting in the army just cause.

I have a cousin who wanted to join the reserves he has been talking about for 3 years so he decided to go do it. Well he failed a drug test for the army 16 years ago so the reserves turned him away and said no sir sorry. The kicker is he holds a freaking Q clearance for the government who was well aware he failed a drug test for army when he was 18. What the crap? I look at like this......when the find the gun they love and they join the NRA which they will. They will wake up. Obama is the best thing that ever happened to this country. It woke people up to what might happen I'd we the people don't watch out.

If I were to be a part of a red dawn scenerio I would tAke the ak in the eastern united states and prefer an ar in the mid west where there are more open ranges so to speak. And hell if California was invaded I wouldn't care until they reached Utah and co. Also the advantage of an ak during an "invasion" would be abundance of amunition. Heck it would be all over the place. I think jungle warfare the ak is superior and desert-plains warfare you better off with an ar. Just my crappy two cents worth.

clips i would say you can keep full forever---- magazines springs can wear out over time----just depends... i had a browning hp magazine i kept full for 2 years once and it still works fine....
